This not the worst but not the best either. You get what you pay for. The performance was railing at times but if you are on a tight budget then go it.

I ordered this computer as a second computer for home use with distance learning as a teacher. It is great for my Zoom meetings and easy to pack around from room to room. It is easy for my kids to use for their school apps also.

The operating system that was included is a new "dumbed down" version of windows 10, you need to upgrade it to home edition to be able to install normal applications, otherwise you can only install store validated apps. The price i got for this equipment was good for what the hardware has, an older Surface 3 feels as fast as this "newer" machine. So if you need to watch videos or do web only stuff, this machine works wonders.

I needed a new computer, but not one that would break the bank for what I was going to use it for. Nothing fancy. Just social media, movies, and exploring the web. This computer met all my immediate needs and is worth the money...

So my daughter recently needed a laptop to complete a few school assignments. After shopping around I decided this would be a perfect fit. Easy to use and battery life is impeccable. Great laptop for those seeking occasional use.

This was purchased for my 17 year old. She says it works well and has not had any issues with it. It may not be loaded with high specs, but it has plenty for average usage.

I needed this laptop specifically for drill weekends for the military and it works. It’s not the fastest but not the slowest. It’s the perfect size and it gets the job done.

Perfect for what I need to work at home, now that I need to. It was easy to set up and easy to use. Stays charged and it’s quick. I’m not a tech person but I’ve been able to navigate through quite easily to do my work.

With the shelter in place I needed a laptop to work from home (MS Office products, internet, no heavy program requirements). I found this machine on line; bought it at 1100 AM on line for $300 all in; picked it up the same day at 500 PM in SF. Best Buy sent me a text saying the computer was ready for pick up pulled in parking lot, & they put the box in the trunk, & I never left the car. Traffic from the sunset district was a breeze at 500 PM! Heard about adding RAM to improve the machine. Ordered 8GB on amazon, installed it myself. I did look at a couple of You Tube videos to raise my confidence...

Since I'm a mechanic, I don't really use a laptop for any professional stuff, this one get basic things happen without any trouble at all. Highly recommended for the price.

I bought this computer for my elderly parents and they navigate it with ease. Very good quality, and the interface is comprehensible. The battery is great! They use it all day long without needing a charge.

Previously had windows vista. windows ten is okay. not that crazy about it. Also I prefer the cd/dvd unit as part of the computer. This having to buy it separately sucks.

Everything about this laptop is perfect. From the size, the sleekness, The quality and the picture is wonderful. It’s real easy to use and very simple to adapt too. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Got this for my father in law for Christmas and he loves it. Great for surfing the internet and running most programs with ease. Boots up fast and it very lightweight.

It is better than I thought it would be. I got for me young son for him to learn on and has done a good job. We do not play games on it but do watch some youtube videos. So far so good. Hard to beat for the price.

Wish the screen was a little bigger and that it had a ten digit number pad but all and all a fast little computer for surfing the web. It boots up very quickly and is plenty responsive enough. Well worth the price.

Purchased two of these laptops on sale (cheap) with the intention of upgrading them. The processor and hard drive are capable of better performance than this laptop will allow so I immediately purchased additional RAM. HP says that you cannot install additional RAM but slots are available and up to 4 times more than is supplied can be installed. Installation of RAM in this laptop is more involved than in many other models (the case has to be spilt open) but there are many videos on YouTube showing how to do it. You have to be a little careful and take your time but in 15 minutes you’ll have a much more powerful laptop for a really budget price that is capable of running multiple applications at once.
