Inexpensive Laptop For 9 Year Old
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to the Corona Virus and the cancellation of the school year, I needed a laptop for my 4th grader to school from home. This laptop was on sale and a good value. It was easy to set up. I wish it had a little more storage and a faster processor, but it does the trick for what we need it for.

Don't waste Your Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There isn't much to say about this laptop. The screen is terrible, the 4GB of RAM is tortoise slow & it feels like a toy. Don't even waste your money. The good thing is that it only costs $300. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone.

Working From Home
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed an inexpensive computer as the screen on my all in one was cracked. With all this going on I wouldn't be able to get a replacement screen anytime soon. Ordered online picked it up at best buy the same day. Setup was easy, connected to the wireless no problem. I work for a teleradiology company and this computer is perfect.

HP
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer a lot like all HP laptops is a little slow in my opinion but I use this as my emergency back up laptop and it works fine otherwise! Battery life lasts long, I hardly charge it when it sits Around

It’s a good laptop for school and work
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought this laptop for my business so far the only complaints I have is that S mode don’t take it out if you do you are screwed . I’m running in windows 10 s mode you only can get apps that Microsoft allows you . I couldn’t download chrome so I’m force to use Microsoft. Also they’re are editing apps I need to use for my yt and website that I cannot download . When in youtube there is a bit of a lag . But overall the computer starts up pretty fast. I haven’t had a problem with battery life so far that’s good. Do not get if you are looking to game .

Great for minor work!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for what I use it for. I embroider a lot of items and I used this for the software only. It is not the fastest laptop, however it is functional and gets the job done. I would suggest placing everything on an external to keep the least amount of stuff on it to maintain the speed and functionality.

Great value and usefulness for the oricw
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an “emergency” purchase because my primary laptop (MacBook Pro) failed the same day I was forced to work from home and had to be sent in for repair. First - kudos to Best Buy - the on-line purchase and curbside pickup worked great. Used it a few days later to purchase a new router and mesh points (different review). This was my primary computer for 2 days, but I’m keeping it as it travels well. The price attracted me plus there was enough power and features to let me carry on my work. The camera worked well for the Zoom meetings and I was able to access my files at work and my own OneDrive account. Only pain is that it asks you to set up a Microsoft account, which I already had, then keeps giving you messages that there is a problem (probably because the password is different - but as I said I already had a Microsoft account with access to my One Drive). I wish I could turn this off somehow. PS - still like using MacOS better than Windows 10, although the latter has improved over previous Window versions.

Laptop runs great! Needed to upgrade memory
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is running great! It's very lightweight. The keys are nice to click on and after adding more memory it sings! The screen is a little washed out, but other than that great budget purchase. Stay safe out there folks!

Good entry level windows laptop.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it when it was on sell for two hundred dollars. Very nice entry level, budget friendly windows laptop. However, I returned it because it was little slow (AMD A9 processor). Otherwise well made, does not feel cheap laptop.

Cheep and Functional
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it so far. I did have to add an additional RAM card. The 4GB it comes with is perfectly fine if your just browsing but if you want to do something more like Live stream video chats it just wont keep up. I added a PNY - 8GB 2.4GHz PC4-19200 DDR4 SO-DIMM Unbuffered Non-ECC for 34.99. I put it in myself and its super easy as this laptop has a spot for an extra RAM card so all I had to do is snap it into place and that's it. Now it has no problem running things like Roll20 with multiple ppl in the same game with video and audio chats running. It now defiantly meets my needs and is well worth the price even with the additional RAM cost, which I would say is a MUST buy if you are planning to do more than check your emails. Hope this was helpful!

Great computer for price
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for the price - it isn't as fast as I had hoped for and I usually buy HP products because they last a good amount of time.

not too shabby
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the kids home doing school work on tablets and zooming, we needed another device. This guy has fit the bill perfectly. I have no idea how it would preform for any thing demanding like video editing. That said for school work and video conferencing it has preformed flawlessly. Battery life is not spectacular, but it will run all morning non stop with no power savings settings on. For the price point I think it is more then acceptable. Durability: Its not a tank by any means. That said, so far the kids have not broken it, and they could break a block of solid steel if you give them enough time. As with anything it depends on what you want to use it for. It would not make a good snow shovel. It would not make a good Jack stand for your car. And I suspect it would not be good for editing 8k video. It is good for an 11 year old who has to school-work from home during Covid.

Comes with Windows 10 S
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for my sister and found out during set up that it comes with Windows 10 S (safe mode). She wanted software loaded that was not part of the Windows family, so had to work around that. Laptop is fine but not as fast as I thought it would be. Maybe a faster internet would help? Good price for Black Friday. Came with 6 month internet security software, but will use the software that comes from her internet provider.

Great for work
||Posted . Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Machine does what it needs for basic internet surfing and email, just don’t expect it to do much more than that with efficiency. S mode is a pain and forces you to use the edge browser. I can’t figure out how to get Chrome on there without deactivating S mode. I knew what I was getting it for, and it works well for that.

This is a good basic laptop for routine uses
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop because the price caught my eye. I am surprised at how many features it has and the ease of use. While it is not suitable for large jobs such as Photoshopping, gaming and other activities that require more memory it is perfect for checking e-mail, researching recipes, online shopping, and basic writing. The screen is bright and has good resolution for showing pictures. It has USB ports that allow you to connect a phone or camera and not use up memory. If you are thinking about a laptop, but not sure what you want this is a perfect entry point.

Great Work / a School Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is good for school and work, no gaming or anything major. A great value at $200. Zoom lags sometimes, would recommend getting extra RAM from amazon and self installing.

Good value laptop - size, weight, battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent laptop for the money. Good screen size, lightweight, good battery life. Once Windows 10 taken out of "safe mode" good software operation. Con: Windows 10 and Outlook for email.

Pleasantly surprised
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer to replace my HP Laptop of 13 years which died on Black Friday night. My primary laptop is a MacBook Air but I need a Windows laptop for a specific program that I use. The laptop has a solid feeling and doesn't feel cheap. It is only 4 GB RAM so it is not fast; however, the Solid State Drive makes a huge difference in how it runs. This is a great laptop for users who only need basic computing needs and it serves those needs for me.
