Bought as Christmas gift so I’m not sure how it performs . But for the price and the type of usage it’s def a good buy

Had to exchange my first laptop as it froze repeatedly and then gave a hard disk error. The second laptop freezes on websites with video embedded, best I can tell. Does it on sites like CNN and Facebook. I only use it for internet browsing and email, and won't trust it to do anything more challenging than that for now. Task Manager shows the Memory is running at about 60+ % use, most of which seems to be accounted for by the Antimalware Executive thing which can't be disabled. The machine was a good price (get what you pay for, I guess), keyboard is nice and screen/display are fine. It does work pretty well for FB Message chats. I knew it was pretty underpowered when I purchased it, and knew that running it in S mode could be problematic. I don't know how a student trying to be in class remotely would be able to use this laptop, given the constant freezing. I will probably take it out of S mode, though I have concerns about how much that will challenge the system otherwise. Do your research before purchasing. I have to be fair and say that it is the OS that is problematic, not the actual laptop.

Lightweight, versatile, high-powered laptop! Great for just browsing the internet, for completing school projects, or for business use.

Needed a new laptop for my son. Went from a chrome book to this. So far, so good. The keyboard could be better though.

Great for students, function pretty well. Perfect for studying. Although it’s not the greatest in the line but this is what you should have if you are looking for a decent laptop for students.

It works great, price was right. Very happy with my laptop. Does everything I need it for.

Wife did the setup which she said was very easy and it works great for internet surfing and basic daily tasks.

It’s decent, it does the job. Needed a pc for a class I was taking, this was the cheapest option available.

So far so good. The only set back is that it comes in S mode. if you disable it. You cannot apply it back to laptop.

Needed a new laptop for my research purposes for general contracting and for my social media interaction! This laptop was perfect for my needs! Love the featherweight and slimline features!

My daughter is high school this year fully virtual and this computer was a great fit for her. Easy to use and very light weight. I used the ship to store shipping option and it came earlier than stated

My daughter really likes her new laptop! It was really easy for her to set up and use. We tried to purchase another one for our son, but it was out of stock. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.

I use this for school and it’s great. I feel like the battery drains a bit faster, but overall it’s a great laptop.

I needed a laptop just for surfing the internet for my adult autistic son. This one was perfect! It was very easy to set up and not too small. I purchased it online and they brought it out to my car.

I recently purchased 4 laptops all in the $350-450 price range. This one and one other HP and 2 lenovos. The lenovos seem to built better with better quality parts. Also, a big issue for me-both of the HP's have poor wi-fi connection. This one more so than the other $450 HP I got. I have an older Asus that always had a poorer wi-fi connection/ signal strength and have always hated dealing it. I figured with HP I wouldn't have the issue, but identified it outside the return date with both. Now I'll be hating it for a long time. If there are areas in your house that have less connection and you need to connect there then I'd watch out with this one or HP's in general from my 2 experiences. On the other hand super pleased with most aspects of the lenovos. Don't know about the longevity, and I'd be concerned about the power cord to computer connection. It seems like over time it like many cell phones would get loose and possibly not charge properly. How I'm combatting that is trying not to pull/stress the cord when it's connected, but easier said than done. Good luck!

The computer is totally worth it, I brought it to make payments & to save office documentation & works perfectly.

Pros: This laptop works well for basic applications (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) and streaming television shows and movies on apps like YouTube, HBO, etc. It also browses the internet very well. There is absolutely no buffering or lagging. Everything seems to move pretty quickly as well. The quality of the picture is very nice. I do recommend this laptop for internet browsing, streaming, e-mailing, and watching movies/ videos. Con: I work for the second largest employer in my state. I purchased this laptop specifically to work from home using Microsoft Teams. This laptop froze up every time I was in a meeting. Everything just stopped maybe 15-20 minutes into the sessions. I had to just shut the whole thing down probably twice every hour. Thank goodness I had Microsoft Teams on my smartphone and could join sessions from there with no issues. I ended up borrowing a different laptop from my employer and it's a totally different brand, but I guess the employer's laptop has been configured to be able to handle the work load of hundreds of thousands of people accessing a particular platform. I cannot recommend this laptop for Microsoft Teams. So basically it doesn't work for the purpose that I purchased it for (multiple and extended Microsoft Teams meetings), which is why I'm giving it 3 stars, but it works fine for everything else.

I purchased this laptop for a new job I was hired for as a work from home position. It’s a good size and lightweight. Very easy to use and set up. Works well for what I’m using it for.

I had to purchase 2 of these for my kids due to being homeschooled during covid. One of them the battery is not charging fully the other one has some of the outer shell not staying put. I am foing to have to replace both of tham for something else. Not that food of a deal when I am looking at putting another 2 to 300 dollars into 2 more this year.

Bought two of these laptops for my kids for school. They are working great so far. The only down side is the Windows S mode. I don't know enough about it to decide whether or not to remove it. It limits the apps you can download, but if you remove it you can never put it back. Other than that, so far so good.
