Is the HP 14" laptop for you?

It's low on RAM and has limited memory for more sophisticated use. Good for kids doing their homework, looking for things to buy over the internet, composing papers and letters and email. It will out-perform any chrome book. Some will find the lack of a dvd drive troublesome.

A very good basic laptop
