This is a sturdy and good choice for basic use. Basic use meaning, school, email non heavy lift things. It has a solid memory and the navigation is easy. Best bang for your buck.

It was a bit slow it lagged a lot forced closed sometimes it was just not for me

I have had the laptop a little over a month. The laptop loads websites and programs fast. In addition to downloading apps fast as well. So far i have had no problems with the laptop. I was sad that the camera was not as clear as I would of hoped it to be but the camera does the job well.

My Fiancee uses this for college and has been for the year and a half. Great computer. Wish it was a little faster, but you get what you pay for.

I love this computer, it’s been really helpful for school and overall it’s a good basic computer for school if your looking to not want to spend much for a computer.

Laptop looks good and weighs very little. After converting to Win 10 from 10S, adding apps is easy and the SSD makes for quick and solid start ups. Battery life has not been tested but seems more than adequate. The keyboard is quiet and responsive so all in all a pleasing package.

Very compact model that is user-friendly. The model holds the charge well and it serves its purpose for me-a college student.

My youngest needed something Reliable for Zoom Online Learning from home. The school issued device had too many issues and the maintenance/IT team was only two people and they couldn't keep up. So I needed a device that was easy to use. The HP 14" laptop meet my needs admirably.

Good, for being a cheap computer. I really can’t find the downside, although it stutters and crashes once in a while but gets the job done for like video editing and zoom

Easy to use with enough speed for online school. Perfect for a high schooler who will also have the ability to get online and Tim Tok and watch YouTube videos as well.

Purchased for my son's first laptop for kindergarten since school is going to be virtual this year. As someone who uses a laptop 10x the price of this one for business/everything else, tbh, this is a really decent bang for buck. Unless you're looking to game on a laptop, this will do everything else at a level at least double its price point. Its weird not seeing a back-lit keyboard on a laptop in 2020, but that's unnecessary for the purpose of purchase for me. Again, great budget laptop for school.

Was looking for an affordable yet capable laptop to help with working remotely during COVID-19. This does exactly what I neee.

Easy setup. I'm not a laptop person but this was real easy to use. I had to get a wireless mouse because I'm just that type. I don't particularly like touch pads so that was my go to. Overall this laptop worked for what I needed to do in working from home

Nice and easy to use. Was great for my niece who needed it for her virtual learning. I love how everything was already installed and the memory for a great price.

I'm new to windows 10 and it's difficult to figure out, and my new laptop already freezes.. I miss the days when a laptop came with the little extras, like a package!

Needed a new laptop to do basic work and surf the internet. This one seems to cover those needs. It can be a little slow if you have multiple windows open.

Overall, I have been very happy with my purchase given what my expectations were. This laptop was purchased for someone who has very little requirements, and it was to replace a much older laptop. They have been very happy with the increase in performance, when compared to their previous device, and the S Mode has kept their grandchildren from downloading the games and music that caused most of her previous problems. I would council anyone to know what to expect with this system, but as long as they understand, I think they will also be satisfied.

3 stars because it seemed to work OK but I had to return it because it was too slow for my first graders remote classes (COVID). Seemed like a heat issue, the vent is on bottom but we tried elevating for better cooling and it didn’t help. Have to say Best Buy’s return process was really easy with this. I appreciated that and recommend them over online retailers.

Not a bad laptop. Bought for my Son to do Online School with so was not looking for tons of bells and whistles. This one is great for what it is needed for.
