My husband loves this computer. I upgraded him from a hard drive to a solid state drive and he was amazed! LOL

I bought this HP 14-DF0020NR laptop mainly for downloading large amounts of 4K video and photos when traveling. The two USB 3 ports work perfectly, giving me a transfer speed of 50-90 MB/sec transferring my videos and images to my Passport external drives and between two Passports to create a backup. Sweet! I only get 27 MB/sec in the SD card slot, but I think that is typical for these laptops to have only USB 2 here. The card does plug in almost all the way so it's not sticking out too far which is nice if you want to use one for extra storage. I just use a USB 3 card reader instead. I will also use it for showing videos, watching Youtube and basic MS Office tasks such as Excel, Powerpoint and Outook. It handles all of this very well and with the 128GB SSD drive it boots up lightning fast. Almost all my storage will be external so the size doesn't matter much to me. The fast boot-up time does. The 1080 resolution is very nice on the non-glare screen. Really looks great and it looks good from an angle too. The keypad is nice the the touch pad is nice too. The laptop is very lightweight and thin. I use it with a 35 foot USB cable to show Youtube videos on my big screen TV in my home theater. It is very handy for that too. Works much better than the clunky apps. About the only complaint I have is that the USB 3 ports are just a little too close together for my SD card reader. But that is easily fixed with an extension. This is replacing an 11-inch ASUS 2-in-1. The ASUS was used very little and the screen quit. I will not buy another ASUS laptop. So far, I'm really loving this 14" HP i3 laptop. It's perfect for what I use it for and the nice 14" screen is a good compromise. It's big enough to see well and yet small enough for travel.
