I bought this last black friday and so far its running smooth and great. The battery life is great- around 4 hours and the laptop is super light and fast.

I purchased this laptop for my 10 year old niece about 5 months ago. She uses it for homework, streaming videos and minor gaming (small size gaming apps). For the price, the amount of time she spends on it and what she uses it for I have to say this was a good purchase. It’s lightweight so she can carry it around whenever she needs it, the processor is the right amount of speed she needs and the memory size is enough for to download the apps she wants without overloading the computer. I recommend this purchase for anyone not needing more than streaming, homework, surfing the net and light gaming.

Bought two, one each for my teenage kids. They like them, but wish they were touch screen. Price was right and no problems so far.

We bought this HP laptop for our daughter in middle school. She has really enjoyed this laptop. It is easy for her to use to navigate the school websites, email, etc. She now uses it for distance learning due to COVID and it has been great for Zoom calls, slide shows, etc. We purchased a separate keyboard for her for ease of use due to having at home school for 6+ hours a day. We enjoy HP products and would recommend this laptop for school use.

A newly registered Grad student I needed a go to laptop that I can take anywhere. And this laptop is it. I don’t do much with the laptop but just papers and browse the web for news and school/class information. I am sure it does a lot more then I know. The other positive is the weight. I am able to carry this laptop all day with no back pain or discomfort. It does run only on 2G and was told it runs also on 5G but it still runs with great speed and turns on quickly.

Bought this for teenage daughter. Light weight, suitable RAM, and perfect use for school work. Not fast enough for online gaming.

I'm pretty sure the black-friday description for this laptop said it had a touchscreen... it does not. Other than that, so far the laptop appears to be great. It's up and running and my daughter is able to play games she was unable to play on her much older desktop. The laptop is incredibly light.. I think the packing materials weigh more. If you're looking for a low-end high-battery life laptop, this is hard to beat (at the $300 black Friday price)

Fast start, fast shut down, all programs are running smoothly. At first it took a while to set up to my liking but once your over the customization it's a nice machine, using for wed browsing and work. Have not use it for any entertainment like movies or gaming so can't comment on it. Otherwise a good buy and actually got two these. Have it for a few weeks now with no issues.

Got this for $289 on Black Friday. This laptop runs fast and smooth, which is very good for i3 processor laptop. Bought this for my son as graduation gift, he likes it. I guessed the 8gb RAM make it superior to other laptop of the same kind, new model of this now comes in 4gb. He uses this for Office applications and browsing the net and he is very satisfied with it.

I am replacing another HP laptop and this one is faster and it’s lighter.
