A good laptop for someone who needs to do only things like surf the web or use it for simple tasks. Processor is a little slow at times.

This was purchased for my mother in law. She had a preference for a lower budget item that would just be more convenient than her tablet (even with keyboard, just too small). This seemed the best mix of value. She loves it. Replaces a laptop that was about 4 years old and she is thrilled.

but don't expect much else from this Windows 10 laptop. Even when optimized its response can be slow and choppy with all too frequent grinding pauses. On paper this should be a reasonable laptop but in reality it's just slow. Yet reliable, it has never had a problem beyond the slowness.

I needed an inexpensive laptop and found this one. There were not any reviews yet but thought HP should be good. Used it for about a week and returned it. It was extremely slow and I hated the feel of the texture on the touch pad.

Perfect for at home use. Basic internet surfing and word processing will work. Not a lot of storage, so also pick up and external drive.
