Motherboard of previous laptop went kaput (very heavy usage) so I needed to get my daughter a new one for college. Did diligent research on all the top sites & this item was the choice. After a few weeks, she informs me that she couldn't be happier.

When I signed up for an online class, I needed a laptop. This one was very reasonably priced and is perfect for what I need.

I'm teaching my 8 year old niece about computers and she is taking a computer class. We needed a simple, but modern, effective computer that did not cost too much. For $249+tx I picked up this HP laptop and installed all the basic software and the teaching and learning software my niece needed and she is learning about computers and loving it. The best part is this HP computer did not break the bank to purchase but still have some nice essential features. It's not a gaming PC or a super fast computer but that's just fine since it's portable and usable to an 8 year old learning about programing.

Great computer for the price, I feel it is a tad slower than I had expected. Biggest problem is getting used to Windows 10 ( which so far we don't really care for)

We bought this laptop just to save pictures and back up our phones. So far so good.

This computer fits my needs perfectly as far as being new and faster than what I had. It is very light weight! Has plenty of memory for what I need! It continues to have an internal disc drive which is great for viewing purchased picture CDs!! Overall very happy with my purchase!

Nice addition. I purchased this for my wife, who travels out of town for work. It's fast, lightweight, and more storage than her iPad. I would reccomend!!

I use the HP to check my email account and look up information. My husband plays games. Our grandkids use it for homework and youtube. Its just right for us. ;)

We bought this for web surfing, however the low quality processor cannot handle basic usage. Web pages took a long time to load if they loaded at all. Needless to say this machine was returned. If you can spend a little more on a better machine, I highly encourage you to do so.

Grew up using Apple products. Bought this for use in a college computer course. Took no time at all to pick up how Windows works; doing great in my class now!!

I do love this new light weight lap top, with windows 10. I am concerned with my security system provided free for the first 6 months. I keep getting pop ups that tell me I am unprotected, which the geek squad said that was untrue. I am still nervous using it.

This machine is just a slow basic unit. Sadly it has no real power or ability to run multiple programs. A cheap product for a cheap price. Nothing special.

I'm very happy with my HP. It is a great computer for the price. It does everything I need and it won't break the bank.

I had a to toshiba lab top before I purchased the hp model and for 300 dollars cheaper the hp blows it out of the water

My son picked this computer out for me and I am more than pleased with it. It runs super fast and has a lot of storage

If your not looking for an expensive overloaded computer, this one might be the fit for you... It's a tad bit slower than I'm used too but it performs nicely
