I was in search of a basic laptop since mine was 8 years old and outdated. This laptop is perfect for me and my two teens; has everything we need and does way more than we need. Great deal!

Processing a little slow, some keyboard dysfunction, skipping and jumping, occasional screen flickering. but awesome video quality and sound. I am an online student and it is some what frustrating with the cursor jumping and skipping, because I do a lot of typing, but nothing that can't be overcome. I am looking for fix to keyboard problem of skipping and jumping it is really frustrating. I preferred the format of Windows 8.1 as I preferred seeing all my open windows in upper corner. Over all not a bad computer. Price is great for everything you get.

If you are looking for something inexpensive well this is your laptop, but it does not perform fast at all

slow loading internet pages. nice if you want to say " I have a laptop" but slow some days the web site pages never load. I would have taken it back but i missed the 15 day window to return it.

I bought this laptop as a black Friday sale purchase along with several DVD sets also on sale The laptop arrived at my house a day earlier than expected. The DVDs arrived separately. The laptop booted just fine, but I immediately noticed another name/user account existed in Windows. I didn't think much of it at first, I and went about setting everything to my liking. Windows 10 had not been activated, so after activation I began to customize the pc, and when I went to Windows app store there was no Internet connection as the machine was not detecting my WiFi signal. I don't claim to be a tech expert, but I am fairly good with Windows PCs, just not Windows 10. I tried in vain for hours trying to fix the issue including calls to both Windows and Acer support which were no help. While on phone with Acer, I asked about the other user account to which I was told that a new machine should not have included any other users, without giving an explanation, the Acer tech said the laptop had been altered from original startup. I decided immediately to return the machine. When I went to return the laptop to the local Best Buy. I asked the lady handling my return about the existence of another name/user account, while friendly she made no attempt to give any explanation nor did she offer to direct me to someone who could. She just credited back my card, and hurriedly finished the transaction as there were others in line behind me. My actual experience with the laptop was very negative as it seemed slow and had subpar graphics. The extra user account may have been a fluke, or suspicious proof that Best Buy is selling returned items as new. Either way buy with caution and thoroughly check any purchase to make sure your getting what you expect.

Hard to believe a quality laptop was available at this price. Windows 10 and no problems with setup and use.

This computer fell right into our budget and has preformed very well. I hope I can keep viruses away using we root ( Best Buy's) anti-virus.

Have had good luck with this brand before and it is easy to get it serviced, if required, in Central America. Very easy to start up and customize. Windows 10 functioned great. The new EDGE explorer is sadly lacking. Would recommend installing a different browser immediately.

It's just a run of the mill laptop. Nothing special. I was told this was a newer model than the one I was originally going to purchase and the cost was cheaper so I was happy about that. Love the display. Large screen. Nice look. It does what any other laptop would do. Nothing over the top though.

I don't know much about computers, but this one is slow. I'll probably limp it along until tax time next year. I've never had a computer this slow to change screens before. Sometimes the touch pad thing doesn't register your finger, and twice it's suddenly just gone dead and then took a really long time to boot up. If you buy this computer buy the extended care protection, I didn't and I have a feeling I'll need it before next year!

I purchased this for my mother in law who was looking for something inexpensive. Very nice for the money

This is a great computer for the money it has plenty of space and is easy to follow it had a good tetorial which makes it simple to understand

She appreciated the lap top for its price and the CD player. Did not expect tha for the price. She didn't know the computer was equipped with wifi built in, made it easier to connect to the Internet on the go. The speed was a bit slow and the anti virus soft ware would not allow excess to certain sites: pop ups and wanting to run updates

I bought this laptop for my mother. She is having a hard time with Windows 10, but the laptop suffices her needs. I find it a little slow myself, but again, it is a dearly good laptop.

So far I have experienced no issues with the installation and use of laptop. Most apps were compatible with my other products with Windows10.

Practice, good price, quality, I like color and siZe good camera.

Upon doing a speed test on a highly cluttered website (android central) to see which computers would load this site the fastest at the store this computer processed the site faster than a much more expensive laptop that was right next to it as well as every other computer in its price range ...I ran the "test" several times and each time it performed the same ...it was the fastest computer in its price range and is still working perfectly and to be honest I am very impressed with it...obviously it's not a high end computer so you can't expect high end graphics or display but as far as function it's the best computer in its price range....period
