This HP has some very nice features ... especially for the price, but the processing speed is disappointing. Websites and documents take far too long to open and streaming content is nearly impossible because of the jumpiness of the return. It does do all that I need it to do for basic day-to-day home operations, but I would not recommend this computer for anyone's gaming or entertainment needs,

Good starter laptop I needed a laptop with a disk reader and was good for editing pictures. This is so far turning out to be a good purchase. Still learning the ins and outs but really good for what I got it for

I bought two of these computers as gifts. The users are beginners, not needing extreme performance. The machines met their needs. And, HP is a known performer.

The first one I bought was warped where the battery goes in at so had to exchange it then it took geek squad more time to transfer from one computer to another

the first one we got had to be replaced. had to join the geek squad to get a replacement . so far this one has worked ok.

I bought this for my 13years old teenager who has only complimented its speed and light weight. I thought the screen was a bit dark, but... it does the job!

For my wife, who mainly uses it for Facebook and games. She appears happy with it's performance for her use. Said she wouldn't recommend for my business use. Don't ever recommend; hence the answer below.

This would be a good laptop for a student or someone who simply wants it for email, FB, online stuff. However I multi-task and work with several windows open at once as well as an online softphone. I did not realize what window 10 entailed and the learning curve involved if you're not familiar with it, very different from win7. I will say it was very challenging for the first few weeks until I had a better understanding of how win10 operates. You must have patience. Lol

wasn't too sure of upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10, but the more i play with it the more i like it. easy to use. love it.

The reason I say my first "new" lap top is because I have in the past been given my wifes "old" lap top and she would get the new one. This time however, I got the new one and I am very pleased with it.
