keyboard is buig enough to type a paper not slow for everyday use streams 1080p from youtube as good as my phone or better loads photo editor GIMP with video streaming 1080p no problems so if your doing to much at once for this to handle, take it easy on the ADD meds. Wi-Fi is a stable conection You get a CD rom, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, SD reader, HDMI out, and 3 USB with a competent CPU for les than my smartphone. unless you need it for games or demanding GPU programs This is what your looking for. its also hard to hear over a quiet tv or music

So this little gem is used strictly for surfing the web, games, Netflix, emails, watching the occasional DVD and that type of stuff. It replaced a very old HP Laptop that just could not keep up with the programs and speeds of the internet and games. It is perfect for this. It is thin and light weight. GREAT purchase. For the price we paid, couldn't find a better deal.

It performs well for the price, but great starter laptop for students. Has most of what you need if you need more than a tablet, but no need for a full fledged desktop

It does most of what I want it to do, it kind of irritates me where the speakers are on this laptop but, I can look past it. It plays some light games well and it plays videos pretty good. Streams however cannot run on high settings, but again I can look past that. Outside of that, for the price, it does what I need it to do! Most of my nit-picks are luxury things.

Was looking for a backup for my living room laptop because the ATI video is acting up so I decided to get a backup. Brought this product during Black Friday for 279 taxes included.Easy setup ,very fast bootup time, apps open fast as well. Can't remember the issue but I tried to restore the unit to a earlier time and it never restarted.Returned to Best Buy and exchanged for another one of these. Very happy with this purchase machine is fun to use..A word of caution,I would not recommend pushing this machine,Web surfing and emails is all I do on this piece.I keep in mind that this is a low budget machine so I keep it simple. ..First windows 10 machine and probably the last, updates take forever. Started one at 11 pm was still updating a at 4am.Can't tell if it's the OS or the machine. Cd rom draw is tricky opening,won't be messing with that again hard to find and press the button to open the tray.Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase,using this more than my main computer but that will change once the newness wears off. You'll enjoy this machine.

The laptop performed above expectations for the price I had anticipated below par but it has done all I've thrown at it. Good performance for price

It's a slow computer and the battery life is not long but all I use it for is typing up papers and online tests for school. It meets my needs.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my teenage daughter. So far, she really enjoys it. It's definitely not a powerhouse, but would be just fine for surfing the Internet and routine homework. Setup must have been easy enough, since she had it all set up before I was even out of bed xmas morning. I could recommend this for anyone looking for an inexpensive starter laptop. Not so much if you're wanting to do gaming or graphics work.

I read most of the 1 star reviews and decided the computer was worth the money most of the bad reviews seemed to be with the operating system not the machine itself. If you are looking for a lap top for everyday use at a reasonable price this is the one for you.

For what I paid & got, I'm very happy. Everything works great. I do like Windows 10. Way better than Vista. No problems what so ever. If your in need for a new laptop, don't want to spend a lot, this is a great choice.

This laptop has everything college kids need to do studying and reports also the price was right, just bought a printer which was also decently priced so they can print their reports, it was a pleasure doing business with Best Buy the geek squad was extremely helpful and fast , I will definitely go back and buy again also bought coverage just in case so I now have peace of mind if something should go wrong.

I bought this about a year ago Its not as great as my gateway, but it does the basics. It has a good sized screen. I like the keyboard. Issues that I dont like is that the sound is lousy on it. You can turn the sound up to 100 and it is barely audible. Battery doesnt last long. Its not really the fastest, but currently I use it to write on and send emails. For the money its okay.

I brought this laptop for my niece and at first I paid $279 for it and BB lowered the price to $259 and it does the job for her. She will not be doing any hardcore gaming just watch youtube and emailing.

Con:It's a little slow Pro: it gets the job done for my use, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and the price was amazing.

I bought this laptop last Month for my wife. All she wanted was a bigger screen, ninjas and a rough n tough laptop. This caught my eyes and so far I am happy with the product. Although the speakers couldve been better. I use Skype and time to time the sounds don't come clear as it should be, same thing while watching movies. Other than that it's light, has a good battery life and smooth.

It is a great and reliable laptop for the price. It does not move as fast as a more powerful laptop, but that's expected.

If your going to video edit, maybe pay more for speed,however for web, email, documents,Office and photos this is the one for you. Why spend a grand? Save 500-600$...........500Gb drive will take you out for two years, buy an external hardrive for backups......

Anyone who is looking for the Windows 10 experience, without spending a ton of money, this is a great laptop.
