I purchesed this laptop for my fiancé for Christmas. All she really needed it for was browsing the Internet. This is a very capable, inexpensive machine that suits anyone not really into gaming and who needs just the basics in a laptop. Setup and use are both simple.

I got this laptop for my girlfriend as a first laptop, it has decent specs and thus far has not failed to impress me, it has a large 16 inch screen and a number pad, it has a fast software and so far i love it and she loves it too.

I'm a VP of IT professionally, so I am picky about computer purchases. I typically stay away from AMD processors as a whole, but I was looking to buy 2 of these for my kids. The kids haven't had a single issue on them. They use them for Netflix, Animal Jam, and YouTube mostly. No issues at all. If you are on the fence and it's for someone who is a student or just hobby user, go for it. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because, while I have NO complaints, I wouldn't personally use it - but as a software developer, I personally need more power. For what my kids do, perfect. I would even recommend this for most college students.

Functions well for a basic computer. Resolution and sound acceptable. Lightweight. Good battery time. Terrific price.

Would buy another one in a minute. Running better than our Samsung for a quarter the price and none of the problems we continue to have with a two year old

The specs of this HP Laptop are pretty decent for everyday activities and some light gaming. The screen size is perfect for laying in bed with it propped up on your knee. Two problems I have encountered though. 1. the black finish is a fingerprint magnet, and keep your hands washed before using as the oil from your fingers will show on the mouse pad. 2. When i first received it, the laptop would not stay connected to wifi for more then an hour, but going into device manager and updating the realtek wifi adapter fixed the problem. Other then those two issues this is a great laptop for every day activities.

Not a spectacular pc but for the price you are getting a great deal. Perfect for someone who browses the web and occasionally fires up Word.

Bought is for my kid's daily use and games. It is surprising light and the battery lasts a while. Great performance for the price -- bought is on sale.

This laptop was needed in a rush; Much better than expected! The system is fast and has lots of storage space I was able to download the programs need to get the job done. I love the built in wireless networking and HDMI output. This was the best choice. I'm so glad I made this purchase!

Not much to say other than it works fine. Not the fastest, not premier, but it does the basics and worth the price if you are looking for a simple computer for cheap. Not sorry I purchased.

I got this laptop for my mom. She needed a laptop with basic computing services with an user-friendly display. This was an affordable and great option for her.

Excellent laptop...price wasn't too bad either. Meets my needs. I was able to start using it for computer programming right away. Loads up pretty fast as well. It was different at first using Windows 10, but it's pretty easy to navigate now. Only thing I wish it had was a VGA port to connect it to another monitor/tv.

Considering how little I use a lap top at home, it does a great job. Came with Windows 10, operates quickly. Only down fall seems to be short battery life.

While not a touch screen like my daughter's last computer, from day one this one has worked much better. Plenty of storage for her pictures and music. No connectivity or speed issues. Fairly light weight so easy to carry with you.

This is a good laptop for what it is meant for, which is basic computer work. You shouldn't expect to be able to play graphic and CPU intensive games even with the integrated graphics. If the processor was a little better and it had more ram pre-installed that would be helpful for many things.

This was an emergency purchase for my teen son. He had an older hp computer that he wasted water on and fried. We went to Best Buy and purchased this one and he is satisfied. It was a great deal and had many of the same features.

I am very satisfied with this unit, it has lots of memory and runs very well. My only dislike is the battery life other than that it was a great buy.

I am happy with this product for sure! Purchased it as a temporary replacement computer for my Mom. It exceeded my expectations, user set up is difficult but I think it is the platform not the actual computer. If this computer lasts a year which I expect it will, it is a screaming deal!

The HP laptop is great for the price. Plenty of memory and great ability to hold up to gaming. We use ours for school, net surfing, gaming and more.
