Not a huge fan of the touch pad. Battery life doesn't seem great this far. Nice screen resolution.

I purchased this product as a Christmas present for my 8 year old. More and more of his school work is being done online. It works great for him. He can even play a few games if he would like to. Best Buy's micro trend protection also allowed me to set parental controls and a password, so i know he is safe online. I also got my computer back in the process.

Pleased with this laptop so far. The screen is quite large, just wish it had a lighted keyboard; the keys are all black as is the background, and it's sometimes hard to see. More than enough room for storing files with a 500GB hard drive. Windows 10 is pre-loaded and takes some getting used to, but it's easy to acquaint yourself if you're upgrading from an older version of Windows. Good laptop for the price for a casual user.

Decent price on the item, no troubles so far. Bought as a gift, so can't really review any further than this, no complaints so far.

Nice and run well at this very low budget, only negative side is the fan is very little bit loud, otherwise it is so perfect.

Needed a really good nice size computer for school so that I can write papers and do research for classes. I have an toshiba 13" chrombook but its so small and limited. I only use it to surf the web or in class notes/work, but it wasn't making the cut. So I opted to buy a second computer the HP 16.6 inch laptop and it was the best decision ever. It is light weight, stays charged, is fast, and allows me limitless exploration of sites and apps. HP is one of my favorite tech companies and you can never go wrong with their laptops.

I've had my laptop for a few months now and am very satisfied. The only thing that is a miss for me is the keyboard. It's functional but the caps lock and number lock show a very small light, so it's hard to tell if they are on or not and the keys themselves are a bit too spaced apart. But these are minor inconveniences based on the price and the other positive attributes of this product. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought this for my gf for school it does everything she wants it to do including playing sims

Is good for the money very slow and battery life sucks

OK for Internet, email and basic word docs, but just too slow for much else, and screen quality is just ok. I'd keep looking if its not for just basic computing.
