There weren't too many laptops available in this price range but with the help of the sales person I was able to establish that this one would be the best one that already came with Microsoft office. It's a little slow but worth the money.

Best buy flash sale came at the right time and I was able to purchase this item online and pick it up at the store with in the hour. This laptop does not have all of the bells and whistles, but is a good functional laptop for the price. I've had this for about 4 months now, and so far so good. I required a laptop with a cd/DVD drive, which this one has. My favorite feature is that the keyboard has a separate number key section, which is very useful when I do the family's taxes. It would probably serve a college student well also.

I purchased this laptop for my 6th grade child. The laptop functions well, however the battery life isn't that long and the sound isn't great. These are the only issues with the product.
