Kids needed a new laptop to work some school apps and to surf in general. No issues whatsoever as the workload is simple with basic websites and Java related apps.

So far the laptop has done well for our Troop. We are using it with Troopmaster and Open Office, and Acrobat reader. No errors or issues, batterylife was impressive.

This is first laptop I bought. Seems a little slow but that may be because I'm on DSL Verizon. Otherwise hadn't had any problems in first month. I like HP computers.

the only drawback I can think of on this laptop is the sound quality. Tried to watch a movie with the sound up all the way, and still couldn't hear it very well.

This laptop was on sale for $220, which is a good deal. I bought it for my wife because she doesn't need that much power.

Really like the computer. Not impressed with the updated internet explorer. Also wish it would have come with at least one year of Microsoft Office.

Good inexpensive Laptop computer for the money. The new windows can be a bit distracting... but everything works with it.

Great for those that want it for basic use. The price was right for my limited needs. I hate the case get fingerprints easily. But you can easily clean them off.

The processor on this laptop is nice and fast. The integrated GPU (R4) can handle older games very nicely, usually around 30 FPS. If you upgrade the RAM to 8GB the APU's GPU can gain a noticeable performance boost since APU GPU's rely heavily on system RAM. If you also upgrade the HDD to a SSD, this laptop becomes even better.

Returned this for an upgrade. I am sure it is just as good of a purchase since I originally chose it. The upgrade was a very similar price so I had to go for it.

Was not sure if I would like windows 10 but it was not as hard to get use to as I thought. Still learning how to use some of the features. I am not a computer wiz

I've been searching for a good basic laptop and purchased this one when it was on sale. Great size screen - 15.6", easy touch key board, and even has a cd/dvd player. if you are looking to do basic things - check email, surf the internet, and create documents - this is a real good value.

It was on sale, and it seemed like a good deal. If you need a basic computer that does more than a typical tablet or Chromebook, you might as well try it out.

Very good laptop for the price. Sometimes it can be a pain,but the reason why is cause I feel it lacks ram and sometimes freezes up. Other than that I like it.

The computer came with Office 2016. When I open any office apps, it says not responding quite often. I get the same message in Chrome. Each time I turn on the computer, it says updating and takes forever. When I click to shut off, I only get options to shut off and update or restart and update. I do not want to update. It takes too long. Besides these issues, it's decent for the price.

I purchased this laptop for use as a learning tool but have been surprised that it is so much more. It is lightweight and has a wonderful clear screen for pictures and movies and not just spreadsheets and documents. This laptop will replace my current desk laptop for getting things done.

This was a Christmas gift for my dad. He loves it. Has all the features he wants and needs. There are a lot of setups in the beginning but after that it's fine.

Old laptop stopped working and needed basic one to replace. This was a great price point to ha be basic internet access use but can be a bit saggy at times.

Good. but I liked my old Toshiba better. With the HP I have to type in my web name every time I on it. With the Toshiba, it was locked in and I hit the symbol.

met my expectations. good basic computer. smallest laptop available with integrated disc drive. good for desktop use.
