Purchased for my hubby. He was surfing web in his small phone.screen. Now he has a bigger screen n enjoys it!

It does take a little patience to get the windows update downloaded but I did not find too much bloat ware.

It works well for basic internet use and simple tasks. Not enough RAM to do more than one function at a time.

An excellent product is a gift I got for my mom, so she could use it from Mexico and my self from NY and works perfectly for her in the regular applications, even try to edit videos of my go pro and works acceptable.

This is my first laptop with an amd processor. Not impressed. I know you get what you pay for...this was a deal of the day at $199...but my old laptop was a cheap asus with the celeron processor and it was quicker than the hp. And for whatever reason, this hp's fan runs constantly and it's loud enough to be annoying. Probably should have returned it but the 15 days passed

Needed value priced computers for business. These fill the bill - have not had one issue in 1.5 years use. Ideal for internet, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Wi-Fi flawless. Can't beat price!

This is my second AMD laptop and I used it primarily for light work. Very convenient when I didn't have my primary laptop close by. Worked great and still operational 4 years later.

I got this laptop on Black Friday for $170 before tax. I actually had 4GB of RAM to install and it accepted and registered it without a problem. I know have 8GB of memory. All you have to do is unscrew the screws underneath the laptop and under the rubber pads. Just make sure it is the same type of memory it currently has. Someone posted that they installed 16GB. Anyone can do it. Youtube really helps. If you can't find how to do it for this model, look up hp 15-af131dx (basically the same laptop but upgraded with a better processor). Before I added the RAM, the laptop ran quite well. Adding the extra RAM has made it possible to run everything without a hitch. If you are looking for cheap laptop that can handle typical uses such as web, videos, and most games (with a lower setting), I would highly recommend this laptop.

Great laptop for web surfing, checking emails, and banking. That what I only use a laptop for these days.

HP continues to provide a reliable and very functional product. My girlfriend and I are delighted.

It was a little harder for me adjust with the layout on the windows screen as for all my laptops in the past, I had an easier time using it. It's not as simple to look at and It's also a little bit slower in speed but thankfully I don't use it all the time. I had a few problems the first 3 weeks in using it so I did an exchange. I think it's just the computer itself.

I have had this lap top for several years now, it still work like the day I bought it, This computer is in very good shape, as long as you take care of it ,it will last you a very long time.
