Set up was easy, has CD/ DVD drive. Great for beginner, surfing the web, homework, and size is perfect!

Previously purchased a more expensive laptop, but it only lasted a short time. This one is reliable, only hate that it always wants to update when i need to use it. Overwise no complaints.

Just needed something for every day use and nothing complicated. It's easy to use and exactly what I wanted/needed. Couldn't beat the price either. Very satisfied.

This laptop is very good for students,it has the basic programs for college, may not be good for gaming but it is fast enough for school four gs of ram 500 hard drive couldn't ask for more. $260 loptop a very good price

I purchased this computer for my daughter who is a high school student and it is worked out very well it doesn't have a lot of power or memory but again for student it would be perfect

Got it as a gift for a child. Was easy to set up and connect to the WI FI. Very fast and easy to navigate.

I got my HP in the beginning of April and IMMEDIATELY regretted it. My FIRST one I received was an open box. ONLY A WEEK HAVING IT, I had to return it due to the battery failing. I got a BRAND NEW (closed box) one and a week later the battery is failing (only lasting a three hour charge instead of six, with my brightness turned all the way down and battery saver on) already. I contacted geek squad about it just to receive attitude and being told I have no clue what I'm talking about. As I am writing this on the computer my battery (which was at 100%) is now at 77% within 10 minutes. Being a full-time college student and in need of a laptop, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. I am now stuck with a lemon due to the fact I need this computer to finish the semester and I'm not happy how I was treated from geek squad.

It is a great cheap laptop to have as a business laptop. Does all the basic things that you need it to.

This laptop is not for multitasking at all. It is a bit slow. This would be great for someone who only wants to surf the internet and nothing too much more. I'm not sure if memory can be added or upgraded, but that would solve the issue of it processing so slow. Still...for the price, you can't beat this laptop. Would be great for students who need to type papers.

Has all the basic function and speed is good. No frills, but enough memory for everyday use, emails, etc.

It didn't start out well, as the first one I purchased had a defective bios. However, I returned it and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They replaced it right away. When I got the second one home, everything worked liked a charm. It's no gaming computer, but is great for the average user.

Bought this laptop as a Christmas gift, and it was at a very good price point. So far it has performed amazingly well, and it is used regularly for gaming. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. Would recommend.

Unless you need a powerful computer for specific programs, you're not going to find many better options for a new laptop. It does everything most users need, with good speed, and without costing a lot of money.

I purchased this laptop for my girlfriend as she needed something basic to essentially surf the web, check email, and do some basic streaming. This laptop does the trick. It's a little slow to load but it seems to handle basic tasks easily without any problems. I'm not sure if this could handle software that requires a little more heavy lifting like Photoshop but for simply streaming, surfing the web, etc it definitely does the trick.

I needed this laptop to use for writing paper, listening to my music, holding my photos, etc. So far, it's great. Having Microsofy Office and Virus Software makes it any better.

It was a great laptop for gaming and school work for my little brother. It's fast and has good space.
