I got this machine as a back up for my work lap top. It does an adequate job but does not come with Microsoft Office so that is something you would have to add. That doubles the price of the machine but still does a great job for just $500.

This laptop has very good specs. Good RAM, Good HD, and unbeatable price. For students I think this is it. Office ready.

I recently had to replace my 12-year old laptop but didn't want a lot of bells and whistles. Just an easy to use basic laptop with Windows and a few other conveniences. I found it in this hp Notebook. Easy setup and great price. Can be a little slow at times, but nothing I can't live with.

Got it for a great price, works well for intended usage, however, the mouse pad does not work properly (purchased a mouse which stays plugged into the laptop); also the battery only lasts about 4 hours. Like that it has a disc drive (will be taking laptop & movies to watch on road trips).

This just the right size for doing what I want to do, play games, some personal stuff. Runs great. Very happy with it.

Good computer for the price, not for heavy use in computing or gaming but sufficient for the every day user checking email, streaming and other basic functions requiring a computer. Great price for the HP, again, not an expensive unit and not the most robust but sufficient for the cost.

This is a very affordable but nice computer. I bought it for my son as a Christmas gift and he streams movies, downloads videos and music without any problems. Catch it on sale and it’s a great buy!

I am very pleased with the performance and screen image quality of this laptop. Performs much better than I expected considering the price. My daughter usually uses it for her homework and has had no issue to date. I would recommend this for laptop of anyone just beginning or on a budget..

Well its not a barn burner but it does well. My other laptop is an older but much more upgraded Toshiba so I wasn't sure what to expect at this pricepoint. Very good entry level Windows laptop but it should have more than 4GB RAM in my opinion. Well worth the money but time will tell.
