for the price you cant beat it, 2.0 ghz to 2.4 ghz speed, my old toshiba was 1.3 ghz and im amazed how slow it actually was, im impressed with this hp laptop and fits my needs.. its a little more noisy though and the keys are smaller than the toshiba but its all good...

This computer was chosen because it was lighter and faster than my old laptop. I am very pleased with it.

Bought this laptop for my highschool daughter. Runs fastvenough for most tasks. Quiet with decent battery life we have not had any issues. Used mostly for schoolwork, facetime, and streaming music and movies. Solid computer for what we paid. Purchased on cyber monday

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson and he is glued to it! I showed him a few things about starting up and shutting down and he has been going wild since Christmas. He has been using my computer for several years and since then is always helping his mother, father, and siblings with all sorts of things. With his own computer that works great and withstands his playing games, writing reports, and web searching he is set for a long time!

I enrolled in an on-line course at Harper college but didn't realize I couldn't use my Apple computer with the course software. I needed a PC fast. I have never purchased a new computer on my own. I ended taking my 12 year old neighbor to Best Buy. I told him what I wanted to do with it and the gears just started turning in his head. He pointed to the cheapest HP computer with a 15 inch screen. I asked him if we should upgrade and spend an extra $100 and he laughed. He then proceeded to list ALL of the features this inexpensive computer had. It has its own DVD drive, multiple USB slots. Other things I don't remember. The kid is a genius and knew I didn't need much. The computer worked fine. I may add more memory in the future but I don't think I need it. I had Word, Quickbooks, and the web browser open all at once and had no problems. Its good enough and that means its great.

I found this HP laptop to be excellent for home use both for business and pleasure. The screen size and color make pictures and videos a great slide presentation and the sound quality without external speakers is great for music listening or watching Netflix.

Though low in price it is high in performance and speed for surfing, email and basic computing needs.

This PC is a good, low-cost product that provides enough memory and storage for most all typical uses.

I didn't need it to do anything special. I don't stream or play games. I surf and do homework on it and it is perfect. I would buy it again, but I have always been a fan of HP.

I was looking for an inexpensive laptop to do basic things like browse the internet and check e-mails. So far so good. The computer is responding reasonably quick, there is a big bright display, and there isn't a significant amount of heat being generated.

I was forced to buy another laptop computer, as mines just quit and I had college homework to complete. I paid 1000 dollars for my last computer and I was glad that I didn't have to spend that amount again. Overall, the computer has been good, no complaints.

Bought as a Christmas present for my wife - her old laptop was probably 7 years old and was super slow. Most of her Internet surfing, social media, etc is done on her Android phone, but she likes the bigger screen of a laptop for playing card and word games. This laptop is very fast, very good graphics and sounds, and we are very happy. I recommended to a friend and he went to a Best Buy near his home and bought the exact same model!
