Got it for my sister no problems so far would not recommend to someone for gaming but for someone want to get on social media or work on Microsoft office it's good

Bought this as a school computer and it works well for writing papers and that's about it. Any multitasking seems abysmally slow, Speakers are barely audible. I would have been better with a Chromebook.

Purchased this Hp - 15.6 Laptop - Amd A6-series - 4gb Memory - 500gb Hard Drive HP to enable flexibility of writing down my thoughts whenever creativity strikes. Plenty of storage for reference articles and images. WiFi, Video capabilities and internet access a plus. Perfect for my application.

I was looking for a starter laptop for my teenager. At first my mind was set to a nice Sony laptop but a sales associate pointed this HP. Its very easy to navigate

Purchased for my 7th grader to use for researching, writing papers, homework, etc. Happy to report, they loved it and have not had any problems with it!

While I would like a little more processing speed, I am satisfied. You get what you pay for and this laptop functions great for the price. Originally chosen for the reasonable price, the Black Friday price made it a superior bargain. All new laptops take some getting used to and this one is no different. The display is good, and the keyboard has a good feel to it. It only has 3 USB ports which is adequate, but two of them are so close together some devices won't fit because of their size. The only actual complaint I have is that the USB's, while handy are located so that a mouse, if used, bumps the one on the right side, and the two on the left are toward the front, interfering with documentation you may wish to place next to the laptop while working. My old Dell had most of the ports on the back of the laptop which kept them out of the way. Probably just a personal preference issue. My old laptop crashed and I needed to spend as little as possible but still get a decent laptop. This HP filled the bill nicely.

Great computer for price. Can't do too many things at same time or it will slow everything down. But I bought it to do simple things, check email, browse internet.

Doesn't maintain a charge long. After I submitted to Microsoft requests, I could finally use it. Just starting out. Still learning. At least it only cost $278

I purchased this laptop for my mother who is in her 70s. She only needs it for email, facebook, and basic internet searches. It is perfect for this type of use.

Great laptop for cheap price. I would recommend this for the first time buying computer if you are looking for a reliable product for a reasonable price.

If you want a computer with more hard drive or more memory, you can pay more. However, this computer works perfectly for my needs. A good price for the features.

I purchased this computer because we are starting a small vinyl business. I wanted a computer just for that and this one serves its purpose. It didn't need to be fancy with all the bells and whistles. This will be the third HP laptop we have purchased and they have all been great computers!

I basically use my home laptop as an internet browser and Netflix streamer. This laptop works very well in that role and I got it at a great price. Recommended.

I use this computer for my administrative assistant and all her daily tasks including: notetaking, bookkeeping, writing letters, etc. and it performs very well.

With a few modifications this HP laptop can be turned into a powerhouse entry level unit. Consider swapping the hard drive for an SSD and upping the RAM to 8GB.

I bought this laptop for my 13 year old daughter. She uses it for schoolwork and going on the internet. It is fast and so far there have been no issues with it.
