Great laptop. My daughter uses it for school and states it's a ok computer.

I detest the Edge browser this comes with. But, for the price i will suffer it. The notebook itself runs smoothly. Gets the job done.

Bought this as a low cost replacement for a dead laptop. It serves it's basic purposes but it frequently tends to lag when starting up or opening Facebook . Not sure how much this is from my wi fi or if from the laptop. I like that it has an optic drive since I still want to be able to use CDs and DVDs. I considered Chromebooks but they just don't have the storage I need. Overall I would give it a little better than average.

We purchased this for my daughter as her first laptop for Christmas. It has been working well and was a good purchase for the price!

This was a great purchase. My daughter is able to use it with ease to complete "all" of her homework assignments and school projects.

Purchased this laptop for my grandson for school projects and personal use. He was pleased with this product. Has already used it. Loaded it with office and virus protection. I am sure that he will get good use of this product over the next several years.

I have to get use to the new software updates but other than that, this was a great buy and an even better price. My kids love it!

Purchased this laptop for my mother, who uses it for online gaming; which it is suitable for and she is so far not having any problems.

I have had no problem with this laptop at all. It was easy to set up and doesn't have the over heating issues my last one had. All instructions and tips are simple to understand and using this laptop is a pleasure. Highly recommend it for basic use.

I give this laptop 5 stars based on price and performance. I actually thought that I was too cheap with this purchase. However, my son actually said that this laptop performs very well even when multitasking. Big sigh of relief. Thank you Best Buy!

The HP computer is a solid computer with great speeds for processing power. With the included 500GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM you wont run out of room on your hard drive any time soon, or have to wait for the computer to catch up to what you are doing/

It definitely serves its purpose, the little one is able to do all the streaming and downloading their hearts desire pretty quickly.

I purchased this computer for my daughter. Since the price was almost the same as a chromebook I figured I would give it a try. Why not have an actual laptop right? So far the computer has done everything she needs it to. It does slow down significantly if too many windows are open at the same time, but for basic stuff it's great. Setup was easy and straight forward and it seems to come with all the basic software. I gave it a 4 out 5 since it didn't include the student software. For the price it was a good purchase.

I researched many different online sites for a computer that could meet my needs which are basic This computer is lightweight packed with neat programs and additional services. It does slow down some when more than two program browsers are opened.
