This was what it needed to be, and more. It was a good value for someone to take for classes, and has been working well since. The touch screen included for the price, was a pretty good deal.

I bought this computer in a rush. I looked at several and decided I liked this one because of its size. I like all the features and apps. the screen is bright and clear. I am very pleased with this laptop.

Bought this laptop because I needed an immediate replacement. Specs seemed alright for the price. My work requires constantly shifting between 2 browsers with several tabs each. I also need word processing and spreadsheets. I was surprised that this laptop had a weaker connection using wifi from the same distance than the 5 year old Asus I was replacing. It also took a long to load. Basically, it was taking me a lot longer just waiting for it to work so that I could get to work. But what pushed me to finally return it after a few days of giving it a try was the placement of the right Shift key (which was also made smaller). I just don't have the time to try to retrain myself to type differently. This laptop is suited for people who will be using it close to the router and who will be doing basic things. Loved how hassle free it was to return the laptop. However, I used some Best Buy rewards certificated which were not refunded back to me.

This computer has worked better for me than the piece of garbage ASUS I bought here 6 months ago.

It is a very effective machine. Good speed. Touch pad is adequate. I recommend a wireless mouse

It was a good price but was slower than my old computer and didn’t like the feel of the keys.

The computer runs pretty good but it had a broken optical drive right out of the box. Took it back & they wanted to send it away to fix it which would have taken 4-6 weeks, unacceptable, or they would replace it but they didn't have any in stock & I had also downloaded all my programs & office on it before I realized the optical drive didn't work so that was also unacceptable so I had to buy a drive and repair it on my own dollar.

I bought this for my little sister who is in college. She only needed something that she could write papers on, surf the internet, and watch movies. This laptop does a fine job at all of those things.

Good computer for doing ordinary things. I added another 4gb to bring it to 8 gb and works fine.

This HP laptop is very efficient. It is also very easy to navigate from site to site.
