I bought this laptop for my sister, who is in college, and she loves it. The processor is fast enough for general student use, and thanks it being an APU, the processor is able to run games like World of Warcraft on low settings with ease. The most amazing part is how power efficient it is. The computer is barely warm to the touch when on low-power mode in Windows. The Hard Drive is perhaps the weak part of the build, but for this price it's not worth complaining. Maybe one day I will replace it with an SSD. Overall, great buy. Maybe even the Best Buy.

Entry level laptop. Don't expect much. Had to remove some of the unnecessary applications and customize the way how Windows 10 works to get the machine to perform better. Major issue I found was the hard drive reading at 98%+ majority of the time (right out of the box). After some changes to the applications and windows, it ran smoother.

This is not a bad choice for an "entry-level" laptop, with a decent processor and memory for doing every-day chores like internet, email, social media and even streaming a movie. My daughter is taking this to college in the fall and she indicated that this is perfect for what she needs it for. For the price, definitely a good buy.

Its a keeper! I bought it cheap on black Friday for $165 and it has performed well for browsing online. In fact, this Pentium performed as well as the i5 in a similar model, which I took back because of its lack of performance for being an i5. Would be worth the regular price of about $270 if my memory serves me right on the price.

Good basic laptop. Good size to be in her backpack and still big enough to read comfortably and work on her projects.

I needed to replace my laptop in a hurry but did not want to spend a lot of money. This laptop works well for browsing and my word processing tasks. The speed seems to be good so far. I am not planning on using it to watch videos or play games so the price was just right (and on sale). I am very happy so far with this laptop.

I couldn't believe the Best Buy ad when I read that they had laptops for under $250, so I clicked the ad to check it out. I found this HP laptop with an AMD chipset (which I prefer over intel) and the price was $199. I didn't really need a new laptop but this was cheaper than an ipad. I just had to purchase it and keep it for a spare. I have opened it up and loaded the software....no problems. I took it to a friend's house for a comparision with his wife's new $800 laptop....it was just as fast. AMAZING laptop for the price,

This laptop is one of the best things I invested in, my daughter uses it for school and play, and she loves it! It's fast and convenient, it gave her a great tool to maintain high honor roll in highschool.... Great computer!!

82yr old Parent enjoyed using it for viewing You Tube movies, reading news on the net and using it for Messenger, until a Certain HP update damaged the Hard Drive less into 9-10 months of purchase. Good thing it was still under 1 year warranty and HP replaced the Hard Drive, citing it as a Low-end product. ( sigh) Gone are the days where there's pride and virtue in making a product.

This laptop has a pleasantly large screen size and bright display, and is lightweight and quiet when operating. Being a purchase for my mother, a good display along with comfort while using were important. Obviously not the fastest or most robust laptop out there, but a solid value for the price and setup was very easy.

This HP - 15.6 Laptop was priced right, has 4GB Memory and 500GB Hard Drive, It serves only one purpose, Hulu and Netflix into my big screen TV. Beautiful, clear, sharp color on the video and very good stereo audio. Easy set up, easy on and easy off. At my age "Television" is my main form of entertainment and it seems the lengths of the commercials are about equal to the lengths of the true entertainment for which is really only what I am interested in. So far I have not seen one commercial yet and only a small monthly fee.

My laptop died last year and my husband bought me this on black Friday. All I can say is at least it works. Doesn't like to shut off so usually just dies from low battery. Takes forever to turn on and even go to a web page. Only goes back one page at a time so you have to keep clicking back to go to previous pages. Can't expect a lot for the low price or my cheap husband. Lol

Bought as a gift for Christmas. My son-in-law loves it - he mostly surfs the internet to keep up on his fantasy football but wanted more than a chromebook. There is enough memory that he can use Office software and produce documents. Also, very fast processor makes downloading and surfing the internet very quick.

I bought the laptop for my grandson and am extremely pleased with my purchase. My grandson is getting the maximum benefits from this computer. Would highly recommend it for 8 to 16 year olds or even young adults!

Easy set up and adding my printer to it was very easy. I Love it's big screen and can make the letters bigger which is why I got due to needing better screen size My last laptop was too small and hardly had memory. It does have a lot of downloaded program offers which I don't enjoy popping up in the middle of work and stopping what I am doing. Some you have no clue if you need or should deny if you accept you might get stuck paying for these. I ask my daughter constantly and she tells me delete it.

This is my second HP Laptop Computer. I wore the last one out after years of use. They are very reliable and I never had a problem with them. I would highly recommend this laptop and I love the larger screen size.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend so she could play the sims 4 on it. Was having trouble finding a laptop in the 200 dollar price range with a cd drive and decent storage until I came upon this one. She loves it and it runs her game just fine so 5 stars.

This is a great computer for the price we paid. Bought the same computer from Walmart at a greater price and took it back to buy the one from Best Buy. Had to order due to none in store. Shipment got lost and after several weeks, Best Buy reshipped the computer. We were very grateful. Thanks Best Buy!

This a perfect laptop for my needs. I don't need a fast or spiffy laptop, as this is just for my home use. I didn't know what I wanted to buy when I got to Best Buy, but I had a great sales person that recommended this laptop. It has a lot of extras, but it could be a little faster. But I knew when I bought it, it was slower. So far, I like the Windows 10 and the added perks (Cortana and Cloud storage) with this laptop. Oh, and it's very lightweight, which is great. Well worth the price!
