I bought this laptop after returning a Dell Inspiron with 6GB RAM and an Intel I3 processor. Although this only has 4GB RAM, it is much faster and the graphics are much sharper. I don't do any gaming, but I do some streaming and run several spreadsheets all at the same time with no lag at all. Could not ask for more at this price.

My son loved it. For students it’s great big screen. The battery is working great and good price.

Got this for mother’s day for my wife and honestly I am very happy with the computer. So far great. Planning to tweak it with an SSD and upgrading the RAM to 12GB but for now it gets the job done.

A great laptop to replace an old one for my wife. It has USB 3.0, a good screen and adequate processing and storage...also a CD/DVD drive which is not always available. Internal RAM memory was light at 4 GB for a Win 10 machine but I purchased an addl 4 GB and it was easy to install.

I purchased this as a gift for my 11 year old son so he could play Minecraft. It's pretty good for the cost but not for many games. He complains about lag, but I think it's more the wifi than the computer itself. I've decided to purchase a little more memory to see if it helps.

I'm a Mac user but need a PC for specialized software that only runs on a Windows platform. I don't need power, capacity, or memory so looked for a basic laptop that's inexpensive and reliable. This HP was an open-box steal at under $200. It was advertised to be like new with free shipping within about 10 days, but I received it in 2 days, and it looked brand-new. And it performs flawlessly. So I give high marks to the product, the price, and the service.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a laptop as we currently have a decent desk top computer in the lower level office I just wanted this unit for upstairs use while watching my grandson and still keeping him in sight. It works very well as long as you don't rush it along. No problems so far and was surprised and happy to see a built in CD player. It was actually quite a good purchase when it was on sale between 200-250 dollars. I would recommend this for someone on a budget as I was. However in hind sight it would have also been good to spend another hundred and get something faster. This unit does do the job and considering the money spent it is a great value.

Loads slowly, but good for basic use. I would recommend something faster for students.

This Laptop sits next to my Powerful Desktop. I use it to watch Stocks, the Weather and other secondary Applications. It is also great to bring on trips, where It is Powerful enough to Satisfy my needs. It's light weight, has a good sized Screen and was a very good Buy.

We bought this for my 7th grader to use for assignments. Does what she needs it to do.

Just wanted a laptop for internet and Word documents. This does that well. I will note that the Windows 10 updates are slow, but that may not be unique to this laptop.

picked it up on a whim, great price. Light weight but most important to me was the cd/dvd port. Most lower end laptops don't seem to have them anymore. I'm still a bit old school and like to create cd's for the car. So far so good. Seems like a good back up computer.

It is slow on facebook but great for 3D PC online games. Still working after a year.
