I wanted something inexpensive that would allow my husband to play and edit videos from his GoPro, and this machine works perfectly! It's smooth flowing, clear, and doesn't lag. Nice machine, and screen size. I was nervous buying a computer at this price. The reviews helped me decide, they were right on and very helpful to ensure I purchased the right item. Husband has been using it for about a month now, and it's been a great computer thus far!

Wanted something not to expensive and difficult for my dad. He wanted to be able to store all his music and play back on his stereo. I think mainly he wanted a laptop cause he has an iPod. Lol. So u found this on sale great for a begginer and he's got the hang of it already. Really enjoys it. The only thing is it didn't have Bluetooth so I purchased a usb Bluetooth adapter. Having the time of his life enjoying his music. Thinks he's a DJ.

This was a second laptop as my wife and I were tired of sharing. It has exceeded all my expectations and we bought it as an open box. The speed is superior for its class. I can have many windows open while working.500g memory and under $300 was a selling point.

The PC has a loss of directions. It will close the website and open a new window. The processing speed is fairly fast when it stays on task. It is good for sitting on the couch and viewing websites and email. We don't do anything that requires processing of data.

I purchased this laptop to monitor an outdoor security camera which runs only on the Windows platform. It’s inexpensive and does exactly what I need. Pros: well made, lots of ports. Dislikes: the screen is not very bright and has a limited viewing angle. Two people watching a movie would be difficult. Not a concern to me. I recommend trying this in the store to see if it meets your needs

We purchased this laptop to replace my daughter's 3 year-old laptop that had seen better days. Overall she likes it (high school student). It works well for what she needs. She did feel that the AMD processor caused things to run a little slower, but not bad. The touchpad is lower at the bottom and inclines to be flush with the surface at the top. This was probably an intentional design feature, but she is used to a pad with a tactile shift so you know when you are going off-pad. She has found herself scrolling and realizing she was not on the pad anymore. It's not necessarily a negative, just a learning curve to get used to a different design. These couple of things are nitpicky, but worth mentioning in case they were important to someone researching the unit. Overall, she is pleased with it, especially for the price. If you're on a budget and don't need one for heavy gaming, it's fine.

Our daughter turned 14 and received this as a present. She uses it for school, social media, games and apps most teens have these days. We highly recommend for the price.

We love this computer. It is fast, lightweight, and has a great screen. It's a good choice for users who use mostly web based apps and don't need a ton of space yet still want the functionality of a full computer. The DVD drive is an an unexpected bonus.

Although I could have saved $90 on Black Friday, didn't want to miss this PC. Bought one in April for myself and now (because the upgraded Windows 10 on her Samsung died), bought one for the wife. Not a fan of HP, in general, but loved the April one so much...didn't feel a need to change. Not a machine for gamers, but for us old people, is fast, easy and reliable. Still hate Windows 10 over 7, but not much we can do about it.

Nicely priced laptop that does enough (for now) for my young grandson. He's happy, and that makes me happy. The laptop offers most of the latest tech stuff for a kid.

I got this laptop as a gift for my grandmother, and the price blew me away! With ok processing power and decent storage space, this laptop was super cheap. It was easy to set up out of the box and runs a little quicker than I thought it would. Opening a lot of tabs in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer will noticeably slow down the laptop. Windows 10 is a piece of junk and comes chock full of adware and useless programs. Take some time to clean up your computer during setup and you will speed it up and eliminate issues later in its lifetime. The keyboard is easy to use as all the keys are in the right place, but the laptop is made from very cheap plastic. I would not recommend it to a friend, unless all they need is a basic laptop for reading the news online, checking their email, and maybe working on some Microsoft Office documents.
