This is a basic and affordable laptop. Good for writing papers and surfing the internet. Rated it one star down given sales associates forgot to include free 6 month antivrus. Management was useless and refused to provide antivrus after the fact. Nothing new here.

I bought this as a replacement for my wife's HP laptop she had for a number or years. She is very happy with it so that makes me happy with it.

This is my second purchase of this series HP Laptop; now we have his and hers. Very functional and great price point for the features included.

For the mentioned configuration, I expected a decent quick response from the laptop, but for unknown reasons it is slow. It is slower than my old laptop that has smaller RAM and lower processor speed. But, hey, I got it on Black Friday, and am living with it for that price. I would not pay regular price for this performance, though.

The computer is working well for my high school senior. He likes it very much says it fits in his backpack and isn't very heavy to carry all day.

its a great budget laptop for basic use. though it has little ram and small hd, it was enough for me since I dont have requirements in a laptop.

Only using this for paying bills, word documents, etc.

THIS LAPTOP IS EXCELLENT FOR WORKING IN OFFICE AND MAIL

Too much plastic leading to easily being scratched, reacts slow to log on or boot up, not good graphics, CD/DVD burner drive does not operate, i.e.; open close by hand, the cost is Ok for what we do with it, windows 10 with the upgrade is working so far, had to give it up on our Dell because Windows 10 kept failing or at least thats what Geek Squad said, had to choose downgrade to Windows 8.1 to be semi happy. Trend Micro is a different beast than what we had some moons ago,,it appears better and we like it, however it did not do well on our android devices and it had to be removed and it could have been used on other putors instead. AWEFUL for use with a SMARTPHONE!!! So far the photo app is workinig as well,,,it was a problem on our Dell and this again is another reason for reverting back to 8.1. GEEK SQUAD was not helpful, our Dell is a mess. NEVER AGAIN. I'd rather play tech support myself.
