This was a Christmas gift for my son who is 12 and loves to watch YouTube videos and look up historical facts. It has speed and a great screen. It is thin and light also.

My Acer pc crashed, but it was never that good, and I went back to my favorite electronics manufacturer, HP. This is a great PC, but getting used to the new windows is a challenge. Great PC though..

Laptop is great for everyday browsing, watching you tube videos, face book etc. Would be nice to have more than 4GB of memory. I love that it comes with HDMI and 3 usb port. Webcam quality is not that great. But again, for under $300.00 can't expect too much. Have it for 2 months now and no issues thus far.

Perfect for my kids to play minecraft, school education games, surf the internet, and great price as well!

I think this was a really good buy at that price and I'm thinking on buying another one for my wife.

This computer replaces an 8yr old computer. Still trying to get use to windows 8 but all else is ok

Windows 8.1 takes getting used to. Not as user friendly as previous window programs

This laptop serves my needs, so very happy with laptop and price I paid for it.

I bought this for my Mother and in about an hour of working it, she got it infected with viruses that shut it down. Because she lives out of State, I had to have her take it to her local Best Buy and then I ended up paying as much for Geek support to help her as the laptop cost. I guess that is the future of our computers, the support will be more than the value of the hardware.

Very good for the price, a beginners laptop. I recommend this for pre-teens.

The laptop works great with a mouse. The touchpad is a ludicrous attachment

got a quad core A6 processor for what other stores sell the entry level dual core E-series processor for. I like HP computers over other brands because only they have a restore hard drive partition that can restore a corrupted system to like new out of the box condition Only complaint is the windows 8 operating system but on the bright side it boots quicker than windows 7

Got this as a gift for Christmas; works great for what I need it for.

750 GB, $260.00, what's not to like? Well, the annoying number keyboard to the right, but other wise, it's quite a fine, slim, quiet machine. Windows 8 start-up screen is terrible, but then all else acts like W7.

I was uneasy about getting a Windows 8 because a family member got one and wanted me to look at it to help him figure it out. Did not like it at all. Didn't realize this is an updated version but I really like it. Start menu is still something to get used to, after using the classic menu since Windows 98, but overall a good product and a great buy. :)
