This is without a doubt the WORST junk ever offered by HP. It has an almost unusable screen. The contrast/colors vary from top to bottom .The updates was SICKENING!!! It had to be updated with - 1st 84 updates, 2nd 153 updates of the updates, 3rd Redo the updates 1 by 1 or else it locked up and had to be rebooted and start from scratch. I could not ever record my own music from my old tapes and records. Why? I had to go to the HP site and find out that there were 100's of complaints that it has a port set up for ONLY MONO IN, and stereo out. So the sound input is no better than a 1960's tape machine! Does that make any sense. I suppose it never dawned on HP that someone would LIKE to use an AMD A8 with 8GB ram and 1TB hard drive for anything other than mono gaming! What was HP's and BestBuy's recommendation? Buy the external USB audio in add-on for stereo input. If the software did not lock up for 2-days. If the only sound port was not a MonoMic setup. If the screen did not give me headaches. Then maybe it would only be bad. How in the world did this unit fail at all ways and means and STILL get shipped! Would I recommend this? No, never, NEVER EVER! It SUCKS!!!

The updated Mac version of the laptop is a bit confusing for me but I'm a beginner and still learning basics of computers.

Shipping is fast and free. Bought it at sales price and it is awesome.
