I believe the laptop I purchased was a good buy for the amount of money spent. However, it has issues with the wireless card, which keeps getting disabled for no apparent reason. I have had to call HP on this issue, and it still continues to happen.

This computer was bought for my daughter. She is able to do all her school work on it. She also watches Netflix and plays games on it. Great overall

Purchased this computer exclusively for home use (internet, photos, etc.) after the hard drive finally crashed on my PC. This computer does everything I need and more. I always look for the Intel processor, this computer has the Core i3, but this is the first HP laptop I've owned. So far I'm very pleased and would recommend this highly particularly at this price. Very good value.

incredible for the price does everything a basic computer would do , highly recommended for general use , emails, etc. have had it for over 3 months , so far no complaints at all

This is a pretty basic laptop and delivers what it should. Good memory and HD for the price. Keyboard and touchpad work well. One minor thing - the outside shows a lot of fingerprints and smudges -more than I would have expected.

Great computer for the price. However, having problems with wifi dropping out and occasional balky performance of the touchpad.

Bought it as a "burner" laptop. Great upgrade from my old laptop. Lots of hard disk space but there are a bunch of extras installed.

So far this has been a great machine. I wish it came with Win 7, but don't mind Win 8 too much. I use it at work so I'm familiar. My favorite part is the number pad, don't find many laptops what this feature and it really comes in handy when working in spread sheets. Overall I'm super happy with this purchase and have had very few if any issues with the machine.

I have had this Laptop for a little over a month now and I am very pleased with it's performance. While it's can't compare speed wise with my Desktop (Intel I-5 Quad Core, 8GB memory) it still has enough HP to handle most anything a general user would need. This is not for playing high intensity games but for most anything else it will do the job very well. The Intel I-3 in this PC is really a very good processor, check the Benchmark score and you can see for yourself. With the 6GB RAM and the DVD player this package is very hard to beat for the price.

This portable laptop computer is just the right space , and has the right amount of storage space for all your basic needs. I purchased this to free myself from having to use the home desktop. With children in school, everyone has need for the desktop , so my laptop allows me to use it in privacy of my own room. The price was awesome.

I bought this because my sister broke my Toshiba touchscreen laptop and this was the only one I could find at a good price. While it isn't touchscreen, it gets the job done. No complaints ... yet.

This computer is great! I like the space and the speed it offers!

I've only been using this laptop for a week but, it works well. It is made well and, very light for it's size. The keyboard is very comfortable and, keys are quiet. I don't like that Macafee is already installed but, it's only for a month. The colors are a bit dull and, loading from one webpage to another is sometimes very slow.

Only thing I would like to have gotten was it to be a touch screen. .

Excellent Laptop for the money. Good for the tasks that most people are concerned about, email, browsing and word processing. The I3 processor is fast enough and the amount of hard drive space and RAM is great. Highly recommended.

I bought this laptop for my wife as a Christmas present. We mostly use it for remedial household stuff (budgeting, Social Media, etc.). So far this machine has more than met our needs with regards to speed, reliability and functions. Definitely a great computer for the price, and a great value.

I wanted something with a CD ROM that I could load DVD's in and a fairly descent memory and processor. I got all MY bells and whistles for the price range I was looking for.

I bought this laptop for my son, who is in high school. He uses it for his HW and other school assignments. The price was great and it well suited for his use.

Great value for the money. Nice unit, video out is HDMI so you'll probably need to spend for an adaptor for backward compatibility if you do presentations.
