Bought two of these. One for myself, because I needed a new one with a working mic for an online proctored exam, and one for my spouse whose PC had stopped holding a charge for very long. So, these do NOT stay charged very long AT ALL, which affects my spouse's work, and also when I started my exam the PC was fully charged, yet it was down to 21% just two hours later which caused my screen to dim and because it was proctored I was not allowed to get up from my seat to plug the charger in. Incredibly annoying that a brand new laptop has such an awful battery that we have both already been inconvenienced by it in the first few weeks of owning them. Oh and it's not a replaceable battery so there's that too. (Only installed ONE thing on them, the software for the proctored exam.)

The price was right. That's why I bought it. I've not yet given it. It was purchased as a gift. So, I cannot really evaluate it yet.

Inexpensive laptop. Suitable for my purposes. Display quality is not crisp. Gray keyboard keys may wear over time.

Nice laptop for the price although HP does not say anywhere how over a third of the hard drive is already used up with a lot of bloatware that most won't ever use.

No touch screen. The order was not what we was looking for

Small keyboard with keys not in their usual position owing to the including of a number keypad. Very difficult to type unless you look at the keyboard. USB-C cannot charge the device, so you have to use the proprietary HP charger. Not upgradable for memory or internal storage.

Battery life is not good system is slow too its average

Had a defect in the screen 3 months after purchase and the manufacturer charged me to fix it.

The computer wouldn't even turn on. Said it was like new open box.

I had a terrible time setting this computer up. I tried, my son tried and my grandson tried.

The graphics of the computer are noticeably old. The keyboard is super old. I needed the laptop for an emergency but I wish I’d waited until I could afford something better

This laptop is little bigger than what I was expecting it but the price was convenient and also it doesn’t have a keyboard light

Great little machine, for a good price, but nowhere did I see that this was Microsoft 11 S, This version restricts you from using selective non Microsoft software. Obviously designed for limited use of students and does not fit my needs. Returning to the store , very much disappointed.

Couldnt get the computer to work right and two phone calls to tech support and two trips to the store I just returned it for a defund

Very slow system with calculator fixed to laptop’s mouse pad, very bad product

It was a great computer, just that words were pixel and i had to return it. The computer as well felt so light.

By mistake my order was delivered to my former address. I tried to catch this before the delivery, but did not. So I tried contacting Best Buy numerous times to have the item canceled. Too late, it was delivered one day early. The driver should have been informed that the item should go back to Best Buy. This did not happen. Do, someone got a free laptop on me.

The lap top went to opening screen and then froze. Not able to get it to turn on. After several hours it suddenly started up. Never had this problem with any lap top including several HP’s.

This is the 2nd HP laptop I've purchased with these specs. Both got caught in a 'boot loop" after Windows updates and I could not get out of it. I had to return both laptops and buy a different brand name. Too bad as I typically like HP

The screen was very very bad every time I turned on the computer it happens to me that it was dead even though I charged it every time before I would not recommend it even if you are on a low budget
