Best Chromebook ever.

Not for Windows users

I'm used to a Windows based PC. I find the user navigation very frustrating - everything about it is very different, like a computer for beginners that have never interacted with a computer. Even Office365 is limited to a dumbed down version. If all you need to do is web browse, you can't beat the price of a Chromebook. If you need to do anything outside of that, like save files, connect to a printer, etc invest in a computer with a better operating system.

Defect with touch screen

Upon contacting HP I was told that this is a known problem with this model. Now have to wait until our local Best Buy opens up again so that I can exchange the machine. Other than that, it is a decent computer for the price and does most of what we need it for, which is online learning for a fouth grader.

Horrible Product

We had constant connectivity issues to wifi. Then this fragile Chromebooks screen broke from the inside. It sits on a desk and I assume just the pressure of opening and closing the laptop was too much. And of course Best Buy and HP won’t help with warranty. I won’t be doing business with either BB or HP any longer. We paid a little over $500 and they are willing to replace screen for $350. Horrible experience from a long time HP/BB customer.

Not so satisfied

The touchscreen feature does not work, never has since the day I received it. The customer service is so poor right now, probably short staffed due to covid...so I didnt return it. The item was sold out after my order was placed anyway. Bottom line is that it's a crappy deal to not get what you ordered and paid for.
