Laptop has few issues...but ok for very basic usage

My girlfriend and I purchased this laptop for her to strictly use for work. It was basic just something that she could connect to her server so she could work from home when needed. From the first time turning on the computer ran extremely slow, and was basically useless. Had to take it back just a few days later to return. We just upgraded from there.

I had so many issues with this computer, I finally just bought another. It was slow and I had it worked on more than once even had to replace the hard drive. Will never buy another computer with an AMD processor again!

I purchased two of this HP laptop, because it was a good deal with plenty of USB slots and SD card reader. One of the laptops had a hard drive crash after warranty expired. The other lasted a bit longer, then the SD card slot stopped working, and sometime after that the USB ports stopped working. Finally that hard drive went as well. Very disappointed as I backup files To an external drive, but I have to go through the time and expense of transferring to an new laptop. The next one will not be HP brand.

I was expecting a much faster boot up and page loading processor. This purchase is a total letdown. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" has never been truer.

Unfortunately, I will be taking this back to BB. The computer takes forever to start up, is slow and the buttons are too bulky. Very disappointed that HP produced such a weak computer. I wouldn't even buy this for a child.

First one overheated, the second one did as well. Best buy replaced both of them. The third one is running at a normal temperature but the SD card reader doesn't work. I just want to throw this thing out the window.

Almost immediately after buying this computer, I found that this computer was extremely slow and buggy. I had a top of the line antivirus program installed on it from the start. I feel like it was a waste of ~$350.

The HP laptop i bought said touchscreen. The actual product when opened did not have a touchscreen. Had to carry the laptop 10,000 miles away and later find out that nothing can be done about the missing feature.

Within 16 days of purchase, this computer had locked up several times and then overheated to such a degree that I could not touch it. Took it back for an exchange, which seems to be working as intended.

Too slow with Internet Explorer, computer shut down while downloading Google Earth and system recovery never worked to computer up again so into the trash the laptop went and it was only 2 weeks old.

It keeps shutting off. I will be in the middle of something and the screen will go black and I will have to turn it back on. Sometimes it reboots on its own. It is extremely frustrating.

Hp used to be good but it's garbage. Super slow computer , waste of money. Hp I bought 10 years ago was faster then this one. Returned it.

Within the first week of buying laptop, there were several issues. 1) The laptop automatically reboots 2) WIFI connecting issues 3) The Laptop does not turn on- Initially thought it was because of low in battery, But even after charging it for am hour it never turned on. Turned on next day 4) There is Fan Sound , which is clearly audible and very disturbing 5) Speaker sound is very very bad 6) Processor is very slow This is my 3rd laptop and I have never faced such issues before.

For only $400 this laptop is great. The AMD A10 processor and 6gb memory is great for multitasking. The laptop easily handles games such as Minecraft or the free game that comes with the processor. The battery is okay, only lasting 3-4 hours. By putting it on battery saver mode helps extends the charge. You can always buy another battery with more mAH that will last longer for about $50 online. So if you're looking for good laptop for school work, a little light gaming and over all bang for your buck then go with this one.

This is a very slow laptop, sometimes it wont shut down , there are times when the search function of google takes forever ant at times appears to be in a loop.

I service computers for a living and this was not ready for prime time. I bought this for my Daughter. I found it laggy and the touchscreen did not work out of the box. At this price I wasn't expecting an amazing experience, But this system did not live up to the specs on the side of the box. After several hours on this I returned it and for another $50 bought a Dell that exceeded our expectations. Kudos to BestBuy for having a great return policy and helping make this right.

Had to return,the CD drive sounded as though it was going to spin THRU the laptop. I returned and upgraded to a more expensive unit.The replacement works great

I purchased the first laptop about the last weekend July and within the first couple of days it started making noises took it back to BestBuy to exchange it for a different one and the second HP notebook laptop start making the same noises and this one shut down went to a black screen returned it back to Best Buy and exchange for a different laptop that works fine no issues so far.

Kinda like it still new at it need lessons still geek squad didn't help me much, spent alot of time there too. You will find connection wasn't good too
