I just got this laptop this morning after doing much research on the new 7th gen APUs this has in it. there was not much accept for release notes and such and not anything on the gaming capability of this APU. As an IT tech i have always hated integrated parts in laptops due to their low performance. But since i have liked AMD's Desktop Graphics cards for my PC gaming i settled for this instead of a $1000 gaming laptop since i have a Gaming server and Desktop at home. I was Blown away when i took a chance and installed a few games - The elder scrolls: Skyrim legendary and Fallout New Vegas. For the $400 price tag i was thinking well this is a waste of time but i will try anyway and fallout on High specs i was getting an average of 40 FPS and Skyrim on Medium i was getting from 30-45 outside and inside maps up to 55 peaks. Now i know this is no where near my 60+ on my desktop but for a $400 laptop i find this acceptable. On the non-gaming side of this review i found that this laptop is snappy it was quick, transferred fast from the USB 3.0 port from my USB 3.0 external HHD, 18GBs of mixed media in under 4mins. the 6GB DDR4 makes this speed feel like i am on my desktop that has a 3rd gen i5 and 8GB DDR3 gaming ram memory i did find the only issue is with the steam gaming app for those that may get this for low end gaming be prepared for a lag when installing from game backups or backing up(Backup Not tested as no need to backup a game i have a backup for) steam draws almost 80% CPU during Installs from backups locking up web browsing. the audio i found great for it being a realtek chip which they have had issues in the past with low volume outputs on 100% volume. Notes: - i would not try fallout 4 or any new high spec games that need massive graphics cards on this laptop. - I do plan to upgrade to 16GB DDR4 ram memory (Yes the specs say DDR3L but when i went to install the 16GB DDR3L i got with the laptop i pull the back off to find DDR4

This product has bad quality. Screen broke in 16 days. Could not even return. All my money is wasted. Best buy won't do anything. nad, it's a misery to call HP customer service.

I bought two of these for my college kids three weeks ago. One is working fine and the other one had hard drive crashed already! There is no way this should happen to a pc.

had missing files called hp they wanted me to pay to ship it to them to be repaired. we never used it. thankfully best buy returned it and set me up with a better one

At this price level, HP offers a superlative product. It has ten AMD cores (4 central and 6 graphics) with 6GB of RAM and 1TB hard drive to get all the jobs I've encountered done easily. Graphics are handled by the Radeon R5 system with ease. The HDMI output has mated most impressively with my 1080p LED extension display at home. The laptop continues to impress me after three weeks of daily use. The touch screen functionality is a huge plus and tough to find for the price asked. I love this computer and would recommend the HP make and model to my friends, relatives, and anyone looking for a laptop for personal use. Sometimes you get what you pay for. In this case, I feel I got well more than that.

I could not get the laptop I purchased from you to connect to internet. Three people tried to help and they also could not get it to work. So My rating is poor. Sorry.

Made whining noise. Screen blacked out. Would not switch easily between users. Difficulty downloading new applications. Returned for different computer/processor.

I've always bought HP computers this is disappointing. Slow start , can't load pictures easily. I use my phone all the time it's faster and easy to use.

Did not allow downloads at start-up, crashed on start-up, laptop had to be completely reset 3 times, file icons do not appear, and files load slowly.

Was not to my preference. The pc did not react the way I thought it would.

Thought it was me so I didn't take it back in 15 days but in 21 days. They said it was a virus so no luck on getting anything done about it.

Hard drive stopped working after a while. Wouldn’t do anything and repairs were over 200$ not worth it

The computer would not turn on. Even when I took it back to Best Buy they couldn't get it to turn on. Very very dissatisfied

Worst Laptop I have ever owned, I received no assistance from Best Buy customer service when I tried to exchange it.

Bought brand new- used for schooling.... BIOS update crashed my computer and fried the hard drive!

Sound was horrible on this laptop it made a static sound right out of the box. Had to return it.

The hard drive had to be replaced after only 6 months. This is a very poor quality laptop.

This laptop is slower than the 6 year old Toshiba that I was replacing. Very disappointed.
