Best for budget gaming laptop. Wish can upgrade ram up to 16gb.

This computer is just what I need to print the church bulletin. I had to replace my other hp computer because it was stolen and I went back with another hp.

My brother has never owned a laptop but as he starts college it was a necessity. He picked up on it in no time and maneuvers it like a pro now.

I am an anti windows 10 person until I picked this one up. Loved it from day one. I am a huge HP / AMD fan, and this fit my needs exactly

Where do I start. First of all the touchpad on this thing is basically useless, you better have a plugin mouse otherwise you wont be able to do much of anything... This coming from someone who made some awesome photoshop pieces on my Dell laptop from 2007. The screen is crisp, bright and the touchscreen actually works very well. But the cover casing is so thin I think the screen would crack if my 7 pound cat ever sat on this while closed. Then there's Windows 10... It's basically made with tablet interface in mind, but heavily sacrifices options and organization for tablet like interface. The start menu is a cluttered disaster, but somehow manages to offer less overall content and options. The control panel is a complete joke offering a fraction of the options that Windows XP, Vista and 7 had. It also doesn't recognize any of the external hard drives or thumb drives I had formatted for both Windows and Mac... I tried someone online trouble shooting but had no luck with getting this thing to recognize any of my pictures or MP3s as recognizable file formats. Lastly, the keyboard... Whenever I type I can hear parts of the frame vibrate like the thing wasn't screwed together tightly. At this point I'm paying to have my 9 year old Dell laptop with Vista repaired and refurbished... That's how much I hate Windows 10 and this computer. My mom offer to buy this form me, I told her she can have it for less than half what I paid for it since that's pretty much what it's worth.

After much research, this was purchased for my grandson. Nice product for Minecrafting.

I purchase the first one less than 48 hours ago CD drive made so much noise and vibration it was ridiculous. Best Buy handled my exchange for a brand new one nicely today. I had them turn it on, test a CD in the player brought it home. When I turned it on, it powers up but screen is black. HP customer service recommends that I return it again! Or offered to repair it. So now I get to go to Best Buy AGAIN. I need much more dependability than this and won't even consider an HP for its replacement. HP has dropped the ball on quality testing and manufacturing with this model that certainly lowers my opinion of them a great deal. Don't waste your time with this one.

Runs nice with the AMD cpu. Hope to swap out HDD with SSD.

Overall I would have given this device a three out of five stars, it is nice touchscreen and the keyboard is fairly large, but on the down side the CPU is a little old, and the video card is a bit weak. But for general internet use it should be good. My reason for only one star is 2 of the 3 USB ports were non-functional making the device useless for my intended use.

I purchased this computer online and picked up in store (Downey, CA). First time i turned on the computer a message reading : Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecitng some info and then we'll restart for you. The computer failed to restart and another screen appeared which requested i restart the computer which "sometimes fixes the problem" or to try other "Advanced options" to try other options to repair the computer, needless to say they didnt work. I took the computer back to the store and they issued me another one. Second try, the computer started properly however, after entering all my desired settings (time, date, language), the computer froze for 25 mins. After two attempts i figured it was a sign that this computer was just not for me so i returned the computer and got a refund. I'm not sure if it is an issue with the computer or the store (maybe giving out faulty electronics to their customers to get rid of them) but I wasted enough of my time. I will look for another laptop at another store.

I bought this laptop a few days ago. The battery life sucks, it only gets to less than 2 hours! Plus it constantly has loading issues and keeps telling there was an error. For $450, I suggest finding a laptop with a better battery life.

Bought this laptop 8 weeks ago and it already quit working. Half the time when I turn it on or take it out of sleep mode the screen won't turn on but the laptop is on. The other half of the time it will turn on but won't show the sign in page it will just show my screen saver. 3 weeks in it started giving me these problems so took it back to geek squad twice. First time they updated it and told me it was good but a day later the problems were back the second time they ran test and told me it passed everything and would not be covered under warranty and that it would cost 150 dollars to further diagnose. Why would I want to spend 150 dollars on a new 300 dollar laptop. I have only used the laptop for school work and only visited about five different websites for school and I only used it at home or school so it is hard for me to believe that I got a virus already. I would not recommend this laptop to my friends or even my enemies. It is overall a junk laptop.
