    Freezing computer

    I bought this computer 3 days ago. In the first day it froze when opening a Word document. Then I restarted it and it froze when opening a video. Yesterday I contacted HP tech support. They helped me very kindly over the phone. I spent the whole day yesterday reinstalling everything according to the HP tech support recommendations. Today using the computer to surf facebook, it froze again. I give up. The computer does not work properly and I will return it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

    Keeps Freezing

    I've had this laptop a couple months and almost immediately after purchase it keeps freezing. I have to hold the power button down to turn it off. I don't know if it can be fixed. No luck with HP technical support yet. I may have to take it in to a computer repair shop or just lose my money.

    Fail for Customer Service and quality

    After a couple of Windows updates occured, the Plug and Play feature quit working. Called HP, the tech said "we do not have the expertise to fix that, I will have to transfer you to a different section and they will have to charge you a fee to fix it." This is supposed to be a one year warranty. Absolutely poor customer service, and quality.

    This HP laptop was terribly slow the day I unpacked it and turned it on. I first thought it was bloatware, and did a run: msconfig and tried to turn the unnecessary background programs off, but it was still glacially slow, to the point of freezing at loading Google Chrome, loading Firefox, and installing Adobe Lightroom (not all at the same time). I did a disk cleanup, a disk defrag, disabled McAfee (which a trial version is included), but still slow. Now it takes several minutes to get to the desktop after booting up, and when I click on icons, a circle spins and spins. In all fairness, I am hoping I got a lemon. I got mine on the 7/30-8/1 tax free holiday. It's out of the Best Buy return policy. Anyone from HP out there?

    The battery life on this laptop is awful & it gets hot very quickly which worries me about its longevity. I bought a different HP laptop initially which I liked, but it was refurbished and was ultimately defective (don't buy refurbished!) and Best Buy doesn't sell it new. I settle on this laptop because it was similar to the previous one.I dislike it and it was $100 more. I just attempted to chat with the online customer service about other options and they were utterly useless. It was if they had a set script and didn't even bother to read my messages. It seems that buying a laptop from Best Buy was a waste of precious money and time.

    Wifi doesn't work

    This is the second laptop I've purchased that won't allow me to hook up to the wifi, I'm very frustrated with it. I'd rate it 5 stars if it did, seeing as I bought the laptop for school.

    Poor quality and SLOW warrenty support

    I bought this laptop in July and after 2 months HDD crashed. I contacted HP support to get it fixed and waiting for updates since 3 weeks. HP support dont understand the importance of laptop in day to day life. Neither they provide any replacement options. They are keep on holding my laptop until they learn & fix problem.

    This computer SUCKS! I've had it for half a year. I've only used it 5 times & each time I have had to get in touch with GeekSquad to fix it! It doesn't connect my phone, doesn't open the App Store, had problems downloading google chrome, & had problems setting up the Mcafee account. I got a 2 year warranty on it & am seriously thinking about taking it in to Best Buy for my money back or a replacement!

    I bought this computer 6 hours ago and I'm already having problems with it. It freezes up as soon as I log on and won't go any further. This is my first venture into Windows 10, so maybe that's it? All I know is this lap top is being returned first thing in the morning. Grrrrr..., I'm tired of watching that little blue circle go around. Fyi, this review was written with my old Toshiba.

    I bought this laptop after my dell laptop finally died. This was a horrible mistake. This laptop doesn't work right. Really slow even my dell with an i3 was much faster. Touchpad and keyboard won't work half the time. Fan is loud. Really disappointed. This will be my last hp purchase ever. I am returning it.

    I have had this laptop a little under a month and it has started freezing up randomly. it will restart itself for no reason. when i try to pull up computer functions like wifi networks it won't let me do anything once the window opens. Do not waste your mom on this computer it will be nothing but a pain.

    I bought this on July 17, 2016 and had to return it to have the hard drive replaced less than a month after buying it. Two weeks after I got it back, an internal fan broke and it has to go back again. I'm not impressed with this product at all.

    We bought this laptop and it worked well foe about 3 days (. Very limited use). After 3 days it was a gray screen. Took it back and returned after geek squad said the motherboard was fried. Best Buy made it very easy and simple to return.

    I was so disappointed that this computer with so slow. I'm surprised at how poor the quality is. I was so excited to get a laptop under $500. It's a shame that I had to take it back because it was so awful.
