based on the large variety of manufacturers, the variety of features and variety of combinations of features for the price, it was somewhat of a dart throw to make a selection. I chose this model not just because of price & features but because it was available in my local Best Buy. the two associates were very helpful in finding the model (which was not on the shelf nor in the back storage area. So operations and setup have been without issue. I will say that the mouse pad is a little touchy but I hope to get used to that. I did have some delays in getting torrent downloading to work and m currently trying to figure out why my CD-burning programs don't recognize the CD drive, but I'm sure I'll figure out those shortly

I went in to Best Buy to purchase 2 laptops, one for my husband and one for myself as an early Christmas present. So we purchased these and love them. Easy to use, affordable, and plenty of built in apps....no regrets here!

I think office should be part of any computer. However, battery doesn't seem to hold its charge, very well. I bought it to do photo downloading to order photos or make books and be able to link into my work computer; so my life is easier...

I was starting grad school and needed a new computer chose this one and no regrets..Only thing the touch screen catches me off guard when pointing to things to show people...works great enough storage and ample speed.

I liked this laptop a lot. For the money, It performed quite well. However, I realized upon using it that I really needed more processing horsepower, more RAM, and, above all, better screen resolution (it is HD; I really wanted Full HD). So, although I would certainly recommend this PC for modest computing requirements, I returned it and will have to pay a higher price for the heftier capabilities I require.

I purchased this laptop for my mom and she loves it. I think it's better than the one I purchased for myself over a year ago. The touch screen is pretty neat. Her computer is faster than my 1 year old Toshiba laptop.
