got this as a replacement for the MHL version of the Roku 3400M streaming stick that came with my JVC "Roku TV". I was hoping to be able to control it with my TV remote by plugging it in to the MHL port that my old streaming stick was plugged in to but that didn't work, but that's not a deal breaker. At least I don't have to point the remote that came with this one at the TV. It's also much faste

You get HP quality and fast processor speed plus that extra RAM which is a big help.

We've had this HP laptop a little over a month now, and the more we use it, the less we want to. I've had really good luck with AMD chips before as well as INTEL, and this had a lot of RAM, so we expected this to be a decent laptop. My family members have determined that they'd rather use other computers, and it's too late to return it to BEST BUY. We have three other PC laptops in the house. Two have Windows 10 like this one, and one has Windows 7. We also have an older MACBook. This just doesn't seem fast and smooth for surfing, etc.... This has the touch screen that looks nice and works okay, it just doesn't seem to work all that well combined with the keyboard. I hoped that the more we used this the more familiar we would become and the more we would like it, but that is not the case. The family just seems to want to use the other computers in the house. I'll have to try it without the touch screen operating and see if it runs more smoothly. The battery charge doesn't last more than about three hours-best case-either. Of all the computers that I have ever returned, the only one was a HP. It was so long ago that I thought things would be different now. I wish I would have thought of that and bought a different brand. I've missed the return cut-off and now am stuck with a computer that might not be used much. At least I didn't pay a lot for this one. My sales man was really helpful too.

Needed an extra laptop for work, picked this one up because of the price and features. Very satisfied, used mostly for data processing and Microsoft Office programs. Lots of storage for what we need it for.

Best Buy had a very good price on this HP laptop. As always the Geek Squad folks are there to help if necessary and gave good advise on anti-virus software. The salesfolks and manager were very helpful also. Don't use the Battery much so have charged it fully and then removed it with only the plug in being used.

this computer is very light weight and the touchscreen is very easy to get used to.

We have field technicians who use these for daily work. Reading PDFs and manuals, some data processing and basic photoshop related printing etc. works great and so far holding up well to the daily beatings.

A good basic laptop for the money but you only get the basics, no frills here. I do have to say I don't think the track pad is very good so you may want to pick up a mouse or just use the touch screen.

Very decent laptop for the price. Touch screen is nice. Sound is probably just ok, but then I didn't buy it for a sound system. I purchased it because of the price and specs. I am happy with the purchase.

A great dependable computer. A little slow to boot up but otherwise smooth running. Touchscreen is great. Keyboard is comfortable -- I find smaller laptops and tablets to be too cramped for typing.

I teach online college classes and needed a laptop for convenience. The value for the price I paid was outstanding - especially since I originally looked at models costing twice as much. This laptop handles many open windows as I navigate student work, emails, and some social media and online shopping. I do not play games, so I have no feedback on that. It is just right for what I do!

I bought this laptop for my daughter. She does a lot of work and research online. This laptop gives her the functions she needs and mobility to have information available wherever she is. The price was very good and I even received an additional discount the next day when I picked it up. I am very happy with Hewlett-Packard products and the Geek Squad offers excellent backup 24/7.

The features offered are great for the price range. Speed is ok, I expected slower with the 1 TB HD. Only slight complaint I would have is the small amount of time it lasts on a charge (about 1 hr)
