Bought or my mom. She could do with a less powerful computer but for the price we felt it was worth paying a little more to get a lot of power, memory, and touchscreen. It's a computer that I can use if I needed too. They cut cost with the picture quality and if it had been for my main laptop computer I would take back but that is because I'm just picky and work with video and picture editing. But it is good to know I can use this one as a back up computer if i need too. It was very fast when i was checking it out when i set it up for my mom. She loves the touchscreen!

Really happy with this laptop. I love the touchscreen, and this one works well. Fast enough for my use. Would recommend to anyone that uses a computer on a daily basis.

It comes with Windows 10 home, it's great that the start menu is back, but the computer does not have any typical programs installed. word, office, or even word perfect have to be purchased separately. No dvd / cd program, no adobe software, they are all add on. The touch screen works great but Windows 10 is a very slow running operating system. The endless - circle icon for items loading/ buffering is very annoying for a brand new computer. The system needs some work. This is my second hp computer from Best Buy. The performance is slower now than the last hp 15 series I bought with Windows 8 and 4 gigabytes of memory and a supposedly slower procceing chip.? The a10 with 6 gigabytes of memory is not proving any faster or showing noticeable speeds on the new Microsoft edge/ internet explorer 11 / or any web page. The update assistant for hp is now constantly popping up even when you shut it down. It's a Good inexpensive- computer if you need one for minimal use. I would get a more capable one for and advanced user or do a lot of research online. I am not sure where the performance of the a10 chip is best used, maybe it's for gamers which I am clearly not. the HP 15.6 Touch-Screen laptop with AMD10 series processor has all the features need for anyone going on trips or school. It comes with Windows 10 Home and with the touch screen give you some additional functionality comparable to tablets or smartphones. with a 1TB of storage and 6gb of memory you have enough for all your pictures, music, videoes, docs, and apps. they battery does great on a full charge last for a day depending on how many process and apps you have open, this works well for those with busy lives this is one well rounded laptop and hey its an HP so there is quality behind it, nuff said

I never liked a touch screen, but this one was so easy to navigate that I really enjoy it now. It is powerful & has more than enough space for all my business needs. Very user friendly.

This is a great middle of the road laptop at a great price. The A10 APU is really decent, even for gaming, on the go. Most laptops in the price range come with 4gig RAM standard, which is just above what the operating system uses by itself. The extra 2gig is useful. The system does have some drawbacks, but none of them effect my normal usage. The system can get very hot so using a cooling pad is recommended. It's battery life is also pretty poor, so you can't really use it for long trips in the car. For students, and travelers who need portable, but can still set the system on a desk for a raid they just can't miss this system is amazing.

This was the laptop recommended by Best Buy in store rep for its increased ram, touch screen feature and light weight under a specific price point ($400)...Excellent value!

This HP is fast with the AMD processor and well built. Excellent battery life for general use. The 6 Gb of RAM are a big plus and a 1 TB HD. Light weight ..easy to carry

This computer isn't going to light the world on fire but it's a good functional laptop with adequate power and some nice features. I don't use the touchscreen much but it works well when needed. The only drawback is the battery isn't very long-lasting but I usually use this as a work from home item so I don't have any issues.

Love the touchscreen although it needs to be kept clean. Computer is fast and has plenty of memory. Case is cheesy. Excellent price! Tried to buy at store, saleslady said none in stock. Went home, ordered online, picked up at same store an hour later.

I'll start this by admitting I'm a lightweight user. Mostly I store photos, participate in social media, check email and read books. I need a laptop for online school work. So far I'm loving it! It's faster, lighter and slimmer than my previous laptop. Widows 10 took a little getting used to, but I'm up and running and taking advantage of it's features. The touch screen was a bonus.

I was In search for a lap top for my towing business. Perfect size for the tow truck and its touch screen too. It's 1tb of storage really caught my attention. I couldn't believe how affordable it was. This was really a SMART BUY.

This is a great laptop, especially for the price. It is good speed and lots of memory. I like the touchscreen as well.

If you’re looking for a basic laptop where you have to buy programs at extra cost and don’t mind a slow startup, then you would like this laptop. I took a chance on AMD but wish I would have went with the one with Intel iCore. A few issues I have had was with system updates and the screen going black. I had to google how to troubleshoot the issue and apparently a lot of people have had the same issue. Another was that the laptop restarted itself in the middle of doing homework and the WiFi disappeared. It came on the next day but this laptop does weird things even with the recommended Internet security protection. On the upside, the touch screen is great and it is lightweight and thin for easy transportation. Also, I’m an avid 10-key user, so I like that option. Some of the programs are pretty great, too.

This HP laptop is pretty great! I love the touchscreen option and the large HD and RAM. The only things this didn't have that I really wanted was Bluetooth and a backlit keyboard. For some reason only the priciest laptops come with a backlit keyboard.

Overall this has been a good computer for the price. It works well if your only running 1-2 programs at a time. My only complaint is the battery life. On a full charge I am lucky to get 2 hours with the screen dimmed way down.

Good computer for the price, pros touch screen works great, great amount of memory for the average user. Processing speed is great. Cons...battery life, does not last very long so make sure you have a charger with you.

Excellent Laptop 6GB memory plus 1TB HD and a touch screen as well. Good bang for your Buck.

I'm a college student and all I just wanted a decent, cheap laptop that could print, surf the web, and allow me to do my homework whenever wherever. I've had this laptop for over 2 months now and have no problems. I love how it's a touch screen, it's fast, and has plenty of memory for all my music and documents to be stored. I've already dropped it and not a scratch which means it can take a hit.
