This laptop wan very easy to install and is excellent for younger children

This hp computer is a good deal in terms of specs and price. The laptop itself is very plain looking. So if you looking for something flashy or premium looking this is not for you. The laptop does not feel cheap but looks it for sure. I will probably put a skin over mine if i can find one. The quality of the screen is good and pretty bright. The touch aspect of it works really well and is responsive. The battery life and no bluetooth is really the only draw backs to this laptop. I dont care about bluetooth and im always near an outlet to plug the computer in so those things were not as important as the specs here. The laptops performance is good. You have a quad core amd chip in there and 6 gigs of ddr4 ram. The hard drive is 1 tb so thats plenty of space for music and stuff. You can always upgrade the ram to 16gb if you need to. I am going to upgrade to atleast 12 later but 6 is good enough to handle multitasking. This is not a good gaming laptop. If your looking to play dark souls 3 on here this is not for you. It will probably handle older games like bio shock or dead island fine but none of the newer games. The speakers on the laptop are acually pretty loud and sound decent. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The battery life is not so great. You can probably get 3 hours max out if before plugging it in but thats not bad really. All in all this laptop exceeds my expectations at this price level. Your getting a good perfomer with a 15.6 inch screen with touch. If your like me and replacing a tablet for browsing internet, social media, light gaming , light graphics work, school, streaming music, streaming hd video, and skyping then this is for you. I repeat again this is not meant for the latest and greatest games.

I bought this laptop for general use--surfing the web, homework, etc. It has been great so far. The only negative feedback I have is that the touch screen is kind of pointless. I never use it.

Bought this machine to tide me over until some career direction uncertainties get settled. Don't ask a lot of my home computer at this point, so the relatively older technology is all I need.

Good laptop for average use. I would not use if you play a lot of games or work on large, difficult projects.

This is a great laptop to have as a starter or a simple multitasking computer. I play few games and it holds up beautifully but I wouldn't use it for heavy gaming if it requires a lot of RAM.

The screen is crisp, clear, just the right size, and is a touch screen!
