I've had the laptop for 3 weeks now. Lots of pluses and minuses, Plus: fast, the screen is crisp, and the price with holiday sale was $350 off. Minus: No Ethernet port, older generation RAM, power button and cortana button now takes space on the keyboard, but most of all, and the reason for the review rating - the keyboard lettering has ALREADY started to wear off! The A, S, C, period, comma, backspace, shift, and ctrl btns are already noticeably worn, and I expect within a month or two will be totally worn off. I'm already having to look at paint pens or stickers (REALLY?!?). For a brand new laptop, this is totally unacceptable. And, this experience has significantly colored my option of Best Buy in general. Why would they sell a set of laptops with this known problem, and, how long has the return policy on defective laptops been 14 DAYS?!? I now have to return this to HP?? After I've owned it for 3 weeks?? Geek Squad gave me the lowdown on this problem - those guys are great, but corporate and sales management sucks. HP laptop is sleek, fast, and easy to use. It is reliable and includes a lot of storage.

The computer is fast, and has oodles of storage (solid-state). I miss the fingerprint reader I had on my previous laptop, and not having a built-in Ethernet port is a definite negative (I purchased an Ethernet-to-USB adapter to overcome that). When I first powered up the computer, I had to search for the power button - it's somewhat hidden, in the top row of keys. I would have preferred a built-in CD/DVD drive, but laptops generally don't have those anymore - so I purchased an external CD/DVD drive for the few occasions when I need one.

I've been using this laptop for a couple of weeks and I'm really impressed. It's fast, lightweight, and perfect for everyday tasks and school work. The screen is bright and clear, the keyboard feels great, and the battery easily lasts through the day. Quiet cooling and solid build quality make it a great value for the price. Highly recommend!

This is a nice HP Laptop. It provides me with all the functionality and storage to meet my financial record storing needs and personal needs as well as lots of downloads. It is fast when accessing the internet and the picture clarity is amazing. The video card allows for fast motion movies and videos without glitches and rebooting in the middle of viewing. I am satisfied with this laptop.

For my needs, this laptop is excellent. I paired it with a 32" Curved monitor and a 27" curved monitor for the ultimate setup. I love the fact that it is quick and has a decent hard drive space. The 16GB of Ram is also nice. Looks nice, and works wonderfully.

I bought for work, it's worth the money. Works fantastic! And hold 9+ hours a day, great with storage and multitasking.

I bought it for my dad he's an accountant, this is a powerhouse desktop-replacement laptop—huge, fast screen, tons of storage and memory, perfect for getting serious work done without ever slowing down.

Excellent computer. It’s easy to use and is light weight. It’s fast and the screen is perfect. The monitor is made very well.

We needed a replacement for our family computer and this gets the job done. It’s fast, has a nice display, and a numeric key pad. We do not game and have not watched movies from it as we mainly use it for paying bills, printing documents, etc. It’s quiet too having no loud fan noise.

Purchased this for my mom because she needed a new laptop and didn't need anything complicated. Very easy to set up and lets her do everything she needs to. Nice big screen for when she wants to stream baseball and footfall games and browses the internet nice and fast.

This is a great computer. I have had it for a couple of weeks now and it performs well and I can finally see what I am working on because of the big screen. I paid what I consider to be a good price for this and it has not disappointed me. I went to the Best Buy after ordering on line and pick up was super easy.

I am quite happy with my HP 17.3" HD Laptop. It was ready to go and operates quickly. The keyboard is smooth to the touch and the keys are large enough that I am not double key tapping. I work with photos and the large screen helps me to see the full picture. The graphics are exceptional. I highly recommend this system for people that dabble in photography. Toast to another satisfied HP computer owner.

Purchased this as a BestBuy "Deal of the Day" as a great price. This laptop has great specs with nice intel processing system, great memory size, quick responsive speed, and matchless giant screen size. Happy with this purchase and with the price.
