I bought this laptop for my Dad to use for work. He loves it!

I have room to grow with my computer, plus a screen large enough for me, as I am older. Now, I just have to learn how to do more things on it.

My mother bought this laptop for my brother and we love it.

It is slow in opening programs it crashes a lot and it disconnects from wifi.

I like my computer, but I would prefer a desktop to a laptop. Getting use to the laptop speed takes time, I believe a desktop is faster.

Excellent Bluetooth speakers. They were great at magfest.

When my other HP laptop slowed down, I wanted to upgrade to something bigger. This laptop did just that. It's got a bigger screen and numerical keyboard, without the extra weight. I'm happy with my purchase.

Cheap but also a very quality laptop. Nice for students

I find this computer easy to use and it was easy to set up. I needed a computer that would allow me to do research and write with ease. I needed it to be able to be expanded later on, but not have so many bells and whistles that the main computer would be bogged down. FYI, I was at first disappointed with this computer because almost put of the box it was slow and freezing, but I took it in and it just needed an update and once the geek squad helped me with that for free, it has been awesome to use, no more freezing.

Awesome laptop for work great speed great size!!!!

I'm very happy with the 17 inch screen and surprisingly happy with the windows 10 operating system. I did not like the windows 8 and wasn't sure if I would like the new system, it's so much easier to use.

Love the size and speed of the computer. Don't know much about computers but the ease and speed for work related use is great

This is a good work computer especially if you are working with photos, which is why I made the purchase. Hold ALOT of images. Screen is large also. The can't hear the fan. NICE. Screen is care.

Good response computer but battery life is no good. I can only use laptop for 15 minutes at most off the charger.

My requirements are simple. My former HP laptop was from 2009 and met my basic needs for emailing and writing letters. That's all I wanted with this new one. However, they have cheapened a few features (even for my lowly expectations). My former laptop had WORD - which counted the words in a document and showed when you approached the bottom of each page. That way I could compose a one-page letter if so desired. The new laptop does not have WORD. It has "WORDPAD" which doesn't even meet my minimum simple requirements. There is NO WORD COUNT. Also, WORDPAD scrolls out an eternity of lines of print ... and you NEVER KNOW when you have reached the bottom of a given page. The only way to compose a page is to print out your full document and then try to make modifications to make a sensible letter or document out of it. Extremely frustrating and a waste of my time. I guess they want you to buy a more expensive subscription product, OFFICE, which I do not want to do. I don't do "Power Point" or produce reports for business meetings. I simply want to compose a one page letter and know how many words are in it. But WINDOWS (and HP) have taken that away and are presenting a less useful product ... apparently in the hope that you will pay more to get these simple features by buying a subscription. I am disappointed. I barely will recommend this product to other buyers.

love it though battery life is not very long, and screen dims a little when unplugged and running on battery

I needed a new laptop with a larger screen to use for the work I do from home. I also wanted one that would sound good when music videos were being played. This one is perfect!
