The computer overall is nice. Fast processor, smooth running. But the hard drive is loud and the mouse doesn't always move when I'm trying to use it.

My husband's biggest complaint is that it runs very slow when booting up and when loading pages. Other than that, everything else has been ok.

Easily the worst laptop we've ever owned, and through home and work there have been many. We wanted a basic laptop for at-home use, and I guess the adage "you get what you pay for" rings painfully true here. Slow, freezes/crashes regularly, and the touchpad is awful to use. Spend a little extra and save yourself the frustration!

Low end computer. Good for what it is. Monitor colors extemely poor. No Num Lock light to indicate whether it is on of off.

Turned on computer, automatic loaded McCarffe. A malware came up and it cost me $199.00 to have the computer useable.

I use it for online and desktop gaming. It is great to compile teaching kessons for my students,too.

I had a few problems with this laptop when I first bought it. It's alright, just kind of slow.

this computer is a little slow on start up .it is good for doing multiple tasks at same time.

I did not like the speed of the AMD processor so I returned the computer.

Slow laptop at first it wont connect to the internet its loading so slow

I'm not sure why Microsoft does not support their products better than they do. Probably because they have a captive audience and they know it. The thing that I really found annoying is that Microsoft never has a 1-800 number to call when you're setting up your new computer. Absolutely no one to talk to to help walk you through the sometimes difficult parts. And especially annoying is that they had absolutely NO support for their Windows 2016 software for Home and Students (powerpoint, word, excel, etc) when it came to loading it on the computer. I'm not a comp whiz, but I'm no dummy either and the downloading/loading of this new software was anything but easy. Bottom line: Good HP, bad and I mean really BAD Microsoft!!

I purchased this laptop as an open box because they said it was never used just opened and this wasn't what the person had wanted that they were giving it to as a gift. Well big mistake...this computer was really a bad one. Spent untold hours one the phone with Geek Squad. Still not right so just returned it for a refund. Do not buy this computer unless you are IT person or can get it fixed free.

I have had this computer for maybe a week. I have had to reset it due to the system locking up. I truly believe it is windows 10 being the issue. I have installed it on my wife's computer and had to restore her whole computer because of it. So it has been installing update, and i hope this fixes its freezing up. I am a PC user that likes to multitask and open lots of windows so if can not do that, its not the laptop for me! Oh and another thing, this whole mouse pad/clicker mix in all the laptops i have seen now in days, im not a fan. Its cool that it has multiple functions like pinch zoom but i prefer my click buttons separate Ill keep you guys posted. I have 30 days to take it back they say so... ill decide just before that.

Slower than Windows 98. Too much pre installed junk without a way to uninstall it. I built a PIII 500 with 256mb RAM in 1998 that would run circles around this thing! No faith in technology these days.

Got this laptop after my last one went out and so happy that I choice this one. It's prefect for what I use it for and I really couldn't be happier with it. I read some of the reviews after getting it and I have to say that the review that says worse computer ever is wrong. Watching youtube videos has been easy and I have always gotten very good sound know matter what type of video's I've watched and have yet to have anything From youtube to websites not load right way. That leads me to think that the person saying how bad it is is someone who is expecting a top of the line laptop for a lot cheaper then their willing to pay. This is a great laptop for it's price and I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a basic laptop that just needs it for bill paying, school work, surfing the web or even watching videos on.

This is a great computer for the money. With the space and speed you can't go wrong at this price point.

Bought it as an open box. We were unable to get past the first screen.
