I pick that size computer because I'm older and my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I'm still in the process of installing and downloading all the programs is still a learning curve for me doing it myself my son usually helps me.

Bought this computer for my Mom, she's all about angry bird and Facebook. The screen is a good size and the Windows 10 is way better than the 8 so all in all it's an easy machine for her to use.

It took some time for me to get used to Windows 10 but now that I have I really am glad I made this purchase.

My old PC was a 7 year old Vista based computer. I had recently read that Microsoft was going to stop supporting Vista by the spring of 2017. Because of the age of my old computer and to move up to Windoows 10 I decided the time was now for something new without breaking the bank. This notebook fits my needs perfectly, for what i use a computer for. I also enjoy the fact that since it is a notebook I still have a fairly good sized screen and was able to get rid of lots of cables from my old setup.

This is a great laptop for a college student. I have been using it constantly at school and have even been using it for some minor gaming.

I have had an pretty awesome experience, minus all the updates that keep happening, I recommend.

Got this for the kids so the would stay off nine and I gotta say this computer is pretty good. Good picture, fast and fluid. Would recommend for a starter computer or upgrade.

This laptop is lightweight, easy to use and hook up to a printer. It suits my needs and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy a new laptop.

Bought one for myself and my daughter. We both love our new laptops! Easy to set up and use, as I am a novice at best. Would buy again and again. Best-Buy as usual, had the best price!

Had great experience with this purchase due to the HP specialist who was the only person to offer assistance, and the cashier/ Best Buy associate who helped at checkout. Had such a good experience there went to purchase flat screen tv, but got no help even though there were 2 associates & a geek squad guy there. When I approached the group chatting no one really wanted to stop the conversation and help me. As a result I left without a tv.

I bought her a Toshiba laptop her freshmen year. Right after here warranty ran out it kept having screws falling out of it. And had windows 8 on it. It was so slow! This computer on speed alone blows it out the water. and windows 10 is so much better!! Hopefully all the screws stay in it. Price point was really good.

I have ms and sight issues and needed a large screen laptop with large print capabilities and cd player. No frills as I do not need them. This computer fit the bill and was an HP to boot which replaced my last one which fell apart after 2 1/2 years. It was less expensive to get this one than to fix my other one. This one does NOT have back lit keys, which would have been ok but are not necessary. What I find very hard to deal with is the fact that the keys are "level" across the board and are hard to lay the fingers on as they are not raised and are hard to maneuver (and I had typing in 11 th grade long time ago and have typed for many years!). This issue with the keys has caused me to type many errors as my fingers hit keys above or below where they should. This is really my only negative for this computer. On the very, very bright side, it has a cd/disc player which was a truly major factor in this computer as I needed one to download the disc for my taxes. So, the size of the screen and the disc player were the two major factors in my determination of a laptop for my needs. This one fit the bill. The only drawback: the leveling of the keys for identification. Would I buy it again even over the more expensive machines with all the bells and whistles? Oh Yea!!

My son needed a computer to work on assignments between classes. The laptop we bought fit the bill. It includes all the features he needed, the portability is great.

I needed to purchase a laptop fast as my PC didn't have enough memory, etc on it for my online classes. I had purchased an ASUS I7 a few days prior but it had a slight defect (it was open box). I really liked the ASUS (esp. the raised keys!). I also prefer a smaller screen size. For the price (again open box-$240), it's fine - does the job.

Been trying to find a computer that will work! My boyfriend had gotten a computer from his sister and of course it's junk! It didn't work correctly - point being in ecstatic I was able to get him a new computer. He loves it! It's perfect for his college courses plus it has the memory he needs right now.

Good computer with large screen that is easy to see from different angles. The AMD processor is fast especially with 6 GB of RAM.

If you're looking for a great performer on a budget, then this is the laptop for you. As far as performance goes, nothing beats this in it's class. Plus there isn't a bunch of added software on this machine. It handles multi-tasking well and I can run all of my Photoshop software with no problems.The large 17" monitor is quite nice and the screen resolution is adequate for my photo needs. Some downfalls are: Flimsy outer shell and a very short battery life.

All in all a good laptop for the price. He says the battery life is to short no last long if your on it all the time.
