    I'm no expert, so I appreciated the easy-to-follow guide to installation. This HP - 24x Internal DVD Drive is much quieter than I expected it to be. It performs all of it's expected functions very well.

    I was having trouble burning data to a disk and I figured I needed a replacement for the CD Burner that I have had for 14 years. I purchased the HP R/w drive and it was just what I needed. The product was easy to install and I now can burn data disk or music disks with no problems. Great product.

    i needed a sata disk drive and didnt want to wait to have one shipped from another site, rolled into bestbuy and they had one on the shelf! not even staples carried them thumbs up bestbuy

    Was somewhat harder to install than I had thought but it was not the unit, it was the computer case. I have several HP laptops, one with an external optical drive. The history was good so I gave this a try and it is - All that it should be
