It is a nice big screen to be able to work on photos.

I have owned this monitor for some time and I am still very pleased with it. I use it as a second monitor for my iMac 27" 5k. I especially like the colors as they are very close to my iMac's colors. The resolution is good at 1920x1080. Images are clean and text is very easy to read. The build quality is excellent and has a very modern design. I would absolutely purchase this monitor again.

I purchased this monitor back when it was on sale for $120 during Black Friday for use with my 2014 Mac Mini, and it has definitely been worth purchasing! The picture quality is fantastic and the colors are very vibrant. It's certainly a nice monitor to look at, even for long periods of time. The actual design of the monitor is very nice, and it compliments my Mac Mini pretty well. It's nice to see a clean and minimalist design on a monitor compared to the typical monitors with cheap-looking black frames and stands. It has two HDMI ports, which is great since most monitors only have one, and a VGA port (I use this for an old Windows XP desktop I have). It even comes with an HDMI cable, so if you don't have one, you don't need to worry about purchasing one separately. You can toggle the brightness and color settings a bit, too, which is good for when it's night time and you want to ease your eyes. The only two complaints about this monitor are that it doesn't have any built-in speakers and that it does wobble a bit when you do something like hit the desk. The lack of built-in speakers are a pretty big deal if you're planning on using something like a media streaming device (Roku, Apple TV, etc.), a video game console (XBOX, PS4, etc.), or any other device that sends audio through HDMI, so before purchasing this, you need to consider this issue. There is a way around this, but you'd need to purchase an HDMI audio splitter and some external speakers, which will cost around $30 for the splitter and, at the minimum, $10 for the speakers. For these reasons, you might want to wait until the monitor is on sale before purchasing it. By the way, I just wanted to mention that, for the people who may be concerned about the pixel density with a 1920x1080 resolution on a 27" screen, I would say that you don't have to worry about anything. Before purchasing this monitor, I was concerned with the pixel density and how that would affect the picture compared to other 27" monitors that have a 1440p resolution or other 1080p monitors that are smaller (24", 23", etc.), but it looks great with a 27" screen at 1080p. If you're coming from a higher resolution screen, you might notice a difference, but if not (like me), you'll certainly enjoy the screen. Overall, it's a pretty great monitor, and I would highly recommend purchasing it, especially when it is on sale!

The HP 27" ES IPS Monitor is a great buy. I purchased mine during the $139.99 sale a couple weeks back. To be honest, I wasn't in the market for a new monitor. I just happened to see it was on sale and figured "Why not?". This has got to be one of my favorite purchases. I've told so many friends about the deal and how great it looks. My previous monitor was a Samsung SyncMaster 24" SA350 which I've had for almost 4 years. Now, it looks obsolete next to this. The best features on this monitor has got to be the screen quality, lightweight design, and most importantly value. Truth be told I went back to buy another one but the sale had ended. Next time I see it for the same price, I will not hesitate to buy. Definitely recommend this product to everyone, when it's on sale....

Loving the size and clear HD quality of the monitor's screen. Reduces the eye strain I get from my laptop's screen and allows me to view multiple documents at the same time (without having to decrease the size). Great for a graduate student while doing research! Monitor was easy to set up right out of the box. It includes an HDMI cable so there was no need for me to purchase a separate one (wish someone had mentioned it!). The screen does allow for sound to be played but it is not the loudest. In order to hear loud and clear, I would need the house to be empty of my kids and other background noises. I will just end up purchasing a wireless or plug n' play speaker set soon. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase! Would certainly recommend to friends.

Very good monitor for 27 inch. The image is great and looks very nice. You won't need any higher resolution for 27inch and frankly a monitor bigger than 27 inch can give you a headache. I am happy with the purchase, as it looks good and is light. It has 2 HDMI and 1 big display port. And I got it 20 dollars more than the cheapest black Friday price for 27 inch monitor. So I am good. It doesn't have audio out or vesa mount, in case you want them. Other than that its as good as a monitor can be.

I bought this monitor to hook up to my laptop because I spend a lot of time on the computer and was tired of eye-strain & headaches. This monitor hooked up easily & everything you need to hook it up is included. The monitor is light weight. The picture is large & fantastic no matter what you are doing (data entry, writing documents, watching tv, reading the articles, etc.). No more eye-strain or headaches.

I am satisfied with the quality of this monitor. Colors are rich with good enough resolution. Price was unbelievable. Just be aware that the stand is nor adjustable, it is fixed. You can't adjust the height without placing a book or box underneath it.

This is a review after using the product for over a year. No complaints or concerns what so ever using this monitor for the past 15 months or more. I use this mainly for my office work and image editing on Photoshop. Images are very sharp and no glares, totally worth and would recommend to anyone.

I was able to pick this monitor up for $139. I wasn't even looking for a monitor when I went to shop that day. I just happened to walk by it and was drawn in by the display. The display image is amazing! The unit they had on display was actually the 25 inch monitor, but I ended up going with the 27 inch and I haven't been disappointed. My only complain is not the fault of the monitor and more my failure to read the specs correctly. This is a pure display monitor, no speakers. So you won't get any audio out of this. Again not a fault in the product, but just make sure you know what you are looking for before you buy.

Bought this for work purpose and LOVE IT!!! Great view from all angles, allows for more work space with having the larger screen. Great colors, very thin monitor which looks sleek and in style, not bulky like some you see around. Perfect for everyday work or gamers.

These screens are very nice. They are very thin for their size and also 1080 resolution, nice and bright! I bought 2 of them.. Only down side is there isn't a DVI input just VGA and HDMI. I had to buy an adapter for one but still a great deal for the price I payed!

Monitor has slim design & doesn't take up much desk depth space. I have it hooked to my laptop so I can have bigger screen. Doesn't have vesa mount but knew that before buying. Good picture. Got it on sale at a great price. This model seems to go on sale often.

I'm very happy with this monitor. I purchased two of them for school and work (lots of spreadsheets & data analysis). The size is perfect. I almost picked up 24in sets, but I'm glad I got this size instead. Got these at Best Buy on sale about $100 off -- great price! The screens are light, thin, bright, and the detail is amazing. I was initially somewhat concerned about stability given the width of the screen and the smallish center stand. But the screens are very stable. They don't get overly hot either. The one thing I'd point out to potential buyers is that they have no speakers (not that I've discovered -- and I've tried). Otherwise, they're great. I'm totally happy with these and I highly recommend.

I bought this screen on sale ($150 something with tax) for my boyfriend for his birthday. This is day two with the new monitor and we have no complaints so far. We have used it for gaming, watching tv, and he reads the news a lot. The screen looks phenomanel. My gaming laptop I bought a few years ago looks pathetic now. Monitor has a very thin bezel looking from the side. Also the screen looks very clear at 1080p. I like this monitor because it has 2 HDMI output although doesn't have speaker built in. The only downside is that it doesn't have a headphone jack.

Love this monitor. The size is a big plus. It's ultra thin, light great color! I'm eventually going to get another one to do the dual screen thang and you can't beat the sales price... HP did great with this screen. Thx!!!!
