I am just going to be straight up. I'm not good at detail with reviews but this monitor is awesome and I'm so glad that I made the purchase with my HP Envy desktop. This monitor is the perfect size with a crystal clear screen for a monitor.

I need a new monitor to go along with my other one for extending my viewing of information. I saw this advertised at a great price and went for it. Great display colors in a much bigger screen size that I needed. The only gripe I had but not one that deterred me from buying, it was there wasn't any audio source input/output. I was able to get around this with another cord via the hdmi output.

I bought one of these monitors back in January for my son. After I set up his new Cyber Power PC that I also purchased at Best Buy I couldn't believe how great it looked. So when I decided it was time for a new system for me I bought two more. I absolutely love them the colors are bright and the resolution is great. I mostly use them for graphics such as Adobe CC and games. I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anybody who is upgrading or building a new system. Oh yah I also got them at a great price.

Could not beat the price. Fits nicely on my desk. Best bang for the buck.

I purchased this monitor as a second monitor for my work laptop. I could not be more pleased...great visuals, so easy to install...just plug and go, very light and easy to move, crisp modern look that gets lots of notice

I love this new monitor. I was surprised how big the overall screen was in comparison to the depth. It has a clear, high resolution screen that works well as a monitor or TV. We use this as a dual set-up as a guest bedroom TV and computer monitor. I love the slim look and the silver finish. It makes it look much more expensive than it was. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid monitor set-up.

Good resolution, very nice contemporary looking and good price!!

I was using a 22" display that was nearly 10 years old prior to replacement with the HP 27es, and the specific area of concern was the slower refresh rate of the previous display (when scrolling, there was a lot of trails). The unit assembled quickly (the base) and with a quick adjustment of the brightness and contrast (never use the settings out of the box -- they are terrible) I now have a solid unit. There is an anti-glare film on the display (thought it was just the finish on the glass, but you can see in the corners it was added on top). The display makes it look like this is bezel-less, but it is not. None of these things really take away from the usefulness of the unit. I have this hooked up to a Macbook Air via HDMI (Apple doesn't make a Mini display port to HDMI adapter, so I acquired one from Cable Matters) and it works fine. I did used VGA to HDMI prior to receipt of the cable, and that worked well. Overall, a very good display and even better since I obtained it on sale for $100 off.

using the monitor for reviewing CAD drawings and notice that some menu toolbars text has some odd amber color pixels that show up as shadows to the fine black and white text on the menu toolbar. can't be sure that this may be a windows graphic card issue, but it shows up near the top of the screen, otherwise the rest of the monitor ok and is fine.

The clarity and presentation is amazing. I purchased 2 for a double display and I couldn't be happier. I have already recommended the screen to several friends. You won't be disappointed with this product.

This is an amazing monitor! Was worried that 27 inch was going to be too large/wide but I went ahead and bite the bullet knowing that Best Buy has a great return policy. Definitely loved it the second I pulled the monitor out of the box. The brushed aluminum silver at the bottom of the screen and stand are BEAUTIFUL and elegant. Thin bezels all around makes for a minimal and wonderfully designed piece of hardware. I am a graduate student in biomedical research and use this monitor daily for reading papers, emails, and image editing. Text is easy to read on this screen and the adjustable settings are easy on the eyes. Overall, I would highly recommend picking this monitor up if you can get it for under $200.

These monitors are great. I’m a numbers guy and needed larger monitors that wouldn’t break the bank. Keep an eye on them for when they go on sale as you can get them for a great price! They are very thin and look awesome. Only issue I have found so far is that they are not easily mounted as there is no room due to how thin they are, but that wasn’t an issue for me. At least 5 people in our office are using these monitors and everyone loves them. Great product HP.

I GOT THIS MONITOR ON SALE AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE AND COLORS. IT WAS ALSO SLIMMER THAN I ANTICIPATED. MINIMAL BEZEL AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE SCREEN. I BARELY EVEN NOTICE.

I was looking to upgrade from my 22 inch monitor and after trying out multiple 27inch, I settled for this. It has great clarity. I started enjoying looking at old pics. I would highly recommend this.

This monitor is just what I needed for my home office. With the appropriate connections, I was able to hook up my 2017 MacBookPro and the color is great. I can say that the display might appear pixilated at times, depending on what activity is happening. When I use it to watch movies, the movie is bright and clear. The monitor comes with an HDMI cord but does not come with speaker/sounds enabling. I have had it for a few months and have no complaints.

I use these in my home office when when working remote and also to watch videos and the like. I got these when they were on sale and am very happy with my purchase . Very good picture quality !

I purchased this monitor as a gift for my son. He got a new gaming computer and this was the perfect addition! Perfect size and such a clear picture! Makes his gaming world that much better!

I love this 27 inch monitor. I was really happy when I found it on sale as I was planning to get a new computer. I bought the monitor and waited for the CPU to go on sale. My daughter set up my computer for me and she is now planning to buy a monitor like this to use with her new Apple laptop. My only complaint is the lack of user guides for adjusting brightness, etc. I don't like having to go online every time I need to look up a feature on my electronics.

I have to work on two screens all the time. My other monitor is also HP, but smaller, 23", less than one year old, and I have an opportunity to compare. The bigger screen is definitely easier to work on. But contrary to the smaller one, it has a glare, so one has to find a position for it in which it doesn't reflect light. Besides size one of its advantages is faster turn-on and its get bright immediately, while the smaller one takes a few seconds.

Overall, this seems to be a solid monitor so far at a decent price point. I was able to get this on sale which helped. If you're buying full price, there are other options you can check out. Otherwise, as a sale priced monitor, it does the job (and comes with an HDMI cable which most monitors surprisingly don't).
