It doesn’t seem to have all that much extra ink for the money.

I walked up to the outside counter and was immediately waited on. The service was very good, however I would have much rather gone inside the store and browsed. The product is good, but of course why shouldn't it be, it is HP ink for an HP printer.

Was NOT high yield. Everything was faded after 50 pages. Maybe. I typically don't print. I scan an email. This was by far the worst. Last one I got at Walmart lasted way longer. Not sure what's going on.
I see that your ink is printing faded pages. I am sorry you are experiencing this situation. I have several ideas for resolving this scenario.
Most likely, the faded ink is the result of a clog. Gently clean the residue from the printhead and the copper contacts.
The second remedy is to increase the density settings in the printer. Sometimes, it automatically defaults to low density and changing it might fix the issue.
Low or high humidity might affect the ink. Turn the printer off if you are not actively printing. This prevents the printhead from drying.

Faulty cartridge

I was not satisfied with the cartridge I bought because my printer did not recognize it as a genuine part. I bought another one at Walgreens and it worked. Best Buy does not credit for defective cartridges so I received another one. I'm not sure if it works as I already have a working one installed.
It sounds like you have a clog. Clogs can cause smudges and other print quality issues. Try cleaning the cartridge. A damp cloth or tissue will work well. It appears the cartridge is defective. If you need additional help, reach out to support.

I bought the double ink supply supposivally crammed into the regular size cartridge. I wasn’t even able to copy the normal number of copies, (which is low) before it ran out. I bought a Brothers printer and I only wish I would have bought originally.

About the sink took it home put it in the printer printed two pages and it quit printing and the printer said low on ink. I was very distraught by this. I had to go back to Best Buy and exchange it for another package luckily the next package worked.

Two of these HP63XL cartridges cost as much or more than the printer. Maybe wrongly but I thought the suggested capacity for the XL type was around 500pages. As a generous estimate I may have got 250.
I'm very sorry that you are not happy with the page yield of the cartridges. We use the industry standard to estimate how much our cartridges will print. More ink will be used for higher density prints and some is used for maintenance to keep the nozzles clear of clogs.

Disappointed

Didn’t seem to last longer than the previous ink catridge that was not XL. I printed less than75-100 pages max on draft print mode and it was out of ink.
My apologies for this happening to you. I can understand why you are disappointed that the cartridge seemed to run out too quickly.
Unless a cartridge is faulty, ink usage determines how long it lasts. High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the surrounding air is dry.
If the poor performance appears to be due to a faulty cartridge, please consider returning it to the seller.

Isn't compatible with my new printer.

I was told by the associate that sold me my printer that the 63XL ink would be ok with my printer; however, when I tried to install it the printer said that is was not compatible with my printer.
Our company prides itself on producing high-quality ink. Unfortunately, these high-quality ink products are not cheap for our customers. Still, I can point out five ink conservation methods that save significant amounts of money.
1. Turn off the printer, as much as plausible. This parks the ink cartridges and prevents them from drying.
2. Use the black ink only setting to save on color cartridges.
3. Monitor the temperature and humidity of the room to limit the drying of the cartridges.
4. Wipe the printhead with a soft cloth to clear any clogs or residue.
5. Lower the print quality settings a tiny bit.
