The first one never worked right after that and hence why I ordered a second time. The second time same thing but once cleaned up I was able to use the cartridge further.

I am sorry that you had these problems with the cartridges. That must have been very irritating.
According to the Best Buy website: "If you receive a product that is damaged in shipping, defective or that is not the product you ordered, please return it during your return and exchange time period to Best Buy and we'll arrange for a replacement. If you would rather return the item by mail during your return and exchange time period, please call us for special instructions at 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289)."

It's unfortunate you didn't enjoy the cartridge. That is not the experience we hope our customers experience. If you are concerned with value, consider conserving ink. Printing in black ink or the grayscale option helps save on the color cartridges. Since it is summer, heat and humidity are factors to watch. Both cause the cartridges to dry out early.
