    With HP holding a monolpy on the ink you are forced to purchase their ink. the ink is good. HP has chip imbedded in the ink. the off brands may work with one color but put all three new colors and your printer will not work. Have to recommend if you want to print

    I appreciate that Best Buy does not lock up their ink cartridges. This allows me to verify that the box hasn’t been opened and a used cartridge put inside. This is what happened to me at Staples.

    The cartridge lasts a long time. This is a necessary purchase to get my printer back up and running after a software update. Only OEM are allowed for the printer, they no longer allow third-party printer supplies.

    Have tried non-brand ink found online in our printer and keep coming back to this ink for the absolute best results. Other ink creates issues, discoloration, and doesn't print with near the same quality. My only reason for not going with 5 stars is pricing. Buying this plus the 3 color cartridges is expensive - dang near the price of a new printer!

    I've tried other "off brand" cartridges and my printer tends to throw an error trying to recognize them. These work well with no issues and last although a bit pricy.

    HP original ink performs well but is pricey. I've tried reloading with aftermarket inks but have had an occasional issue with that. Catching the ink on sale takes some edge off of the cost. Buying a new HP printer pushed me into the 952 ink cartridge, which was much more expensive than the previous cartridges that the older printer used. An entire set of cartridges cost similar to the new printer cost.
